Great place for a quick lunch. The mini size is more than enough for a full lunch. The spicy bbq chicken was delicious and the food is ready very quickly.

I ordered 3 spam musubis to eat while I wait for my flight. Bruhhhh it was so nasty. They watered down regular bbq sauce from the bottle and smothered the rice with it. It was so disappointing because it didn't look appetizing and then took a bite and the flavor was nastier then it looked. It was a no for me.

I always go to Paiea st location, but it is closed for construction right now. Drove to this location and got my usual. Super good, great portion. Tastes like home! Limited parking, and difficult to back out due to being on the road. It’s worth it though. Super nice humans at the front counter as

Not azong food. A let down of most of the L&Ls, they don't have BBQ Pork sandwiches and their hamburgers are disgusting and greasy/gross. It's not an appetizing grease but a weird frozen mushy grease. They use liquid cheese that isn't good. The building itself is rundown and poorly kept. The service is good and fast, however and the cashiers are friendly. It's normally 2 asian women who don't mind friendly conversation.

I went to L&L this week for the first time in perhaps a decade. I used to go at least once a week for lunch. This time, I was in Mapunapuna, so I tried their restaurant there. I ordered one of my two go-to plate lunches, Chicken Katsu. It took about 15 minutes for the food to come out. The chicken was fresh but didn't have as much flavor as I recalled. The kastu sauce was thin, watery, and sugary, but didn't have the tartness I remember (and was much lighter in color). Overall, this mini plate lunch was a decent value. It was about $9.95, which is about 284% more expensive than when I used to get it for $3.50 back in 1993, LOL. Great value!

Today I was in the area of Mapunapuna and it was breakfast time about 8:30am. I remembered my sister Debbie.P mentioned that they make a good Spam and Eggs or bacon and eggs sandwich. Of course I ordered the wrong one it was Ham & eggs. Anyway this L&L been here a long time I remembered back in the day across the street had a Jack and a Box . Now it's the lot of Servco Subaru and Toyota . As my picture shows it's nothing fancy something that I can make at home , but if your lazy like me just go out and buy. Consist of a fried egg , fried ham , Mayo and a soft white bread . Nothing special but some L&L uses lettuce and they put it on a hamburger bun. It really makes a difference because it has to be with no lettuce because the lettuce will make the bread all wet and it just will not taste as good having it plain. For $6.99 a pop just for a breakfast sandwich I think I should have just made it myself at home lol . If your in the area I recommend you trying their plain spam & eggs, or Bacon & Eggs Winna . I had a bit of a bad experience today. I went to the location on Ahua Street because I was having my car serviced at the Toyota Servco next door. The plan was to have lunch at L&L, then go back to Servco to pick up my car. While eating my plate, I received word that Toyota recommended some additional work on my car, and I approved it, which meant a longer wait. After finishing my lunch, I bought a side order of mac salad to eat while I read a book. The place was pretty empty by then; there were two other customers at the time. One of the workers was wiping the tables down, and when she came near me, she asked if I were waiting for someone. I explained that Servco was servicing my car, and she replied that Toyota has a waiting room. I told her that it would take a few more hours and I wanted to be able to keep ordering food during the afternoon. Her response was that I was sitting in a place of business, and if I were finished eating, I should leave and go to Toyota. This surprised me, because I had just explained that I intended to order more food. I was planning to try the Aloha Saimin but ending up leaving out of resentment. If there had been customers waiting for my table, I would have understood why she said what she said, but there were a dozen booths and three diners. If I had given a rating at that moment, it would have been lower (2 or 3 stars) because I was upset at what I thought was impolite of her to say. But in fairness, my overall experience was all right. The food wasn't bad, and the other workers seemed really nice, especially the manager. Also, they keep the place really clean. If you're looking for a place to have lunch in the Mapunapuna area, there aren't many options. Masa's and Kau Kau Grill have no dine-in areas now. Aloha Pantry & Sushi is next to L&L and when I stuck my head in I saw two large round tables, both taken. In what seems like a lifetime ago, there used to be Bob's Big Boy and 99 Ranch in walking distance of Toyota Servco; those were good days. 99 Ranch, especially, had so many lunch options in its food court. Anyway, about the food at L&L, I had the "Healthy BBQ Chicken" plate (chicken, brown rice, tossed salad, $10.99 + tax), and it was pretty good. Quite a lot of salad. The side of mac salad was okay ($1.99 + tax). There's a $5 minimum to use credit cards, which I found out when I ordered the mac salad.
