My wife enjoyed the cioppino, and I chose the lobster ravioli. There were many options on the menu. She liked the food and the service, but it was too loud for me overall.

La Cucina Ristorante Italiano is a hidden gem and, in my opinion, the best Italian food on the island. It’s a very small restaurant, so reservations can be hard to get, but it’s absolutely worth the effort.

Everything on the menu is incredible, from the fresh salads and appetizers to the pastas and main dishes. Each plate is thoughtfully prepared, bursting with authentic flavor, and you can tell a lot of care goes into every detail.

If you’re craving true Italian cuisine in an intimate setting, La Cucina is the place. Just be sure to book ahead to be able to get a seat.

2nd time coming here. And really enjoyed it. Make sure you make a reservation at least 1 month out as it is hard to get in.

Very cozy well appointed restaurant. The staff is good with timing on guests centered around the sole chef and his workload. The food is very flavorful, but the pasta is very salt forward so be prepared for that. You can bring your own wine, etc., which is a nice twist. Hard to get reservations, but overall a good dining experience.

Looked for Italian restaurant and this came up. Went there one table inside note on door says wait outside. We waited and then were told pasta dishes would take hour and a half. Extremely unfriendly and we just didn’t feel they wanted our business so we left.

It's a small place, but when I passed by, there were always people eating at the table, so I was curious and came here.
You must reserve a table seat even on weekdays, and if you go as a walk-in, they give you a bar seat.
I ordered one pasta and one risotto and it took 30 minutes for the food to come out. Both were delicious, but the portion size was disappointing. If you want to eat delicious pasta and risotto in the neighborhood, it's worth a visit at least once.
For your information, I was embarrassed because the server was so rude.

Fantastic food and wine, great service, intimate ambiance, and easy parking. We enjoyed the Bruschetta, Crostini al Porcini, Pappardelle Agnello, and Tagliatelle Neri e frutti di Mare. The pasta is home-made and perfectly prepared. Recommend you save room for dessert: the Creme Brûlée Cheesecake was exceptional. Thank you very much for a wonderful night out!
