We have been regular customers for many months. Yesterday was not a good day for our food. We always have the same thing, Thai Crunch Tacos and a Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Yesterday, compared to any other time, there was no red cabbage in the taco, just lots of carrots, hardly any almonds, and way too much garlic flavor.

Both the breakfast taco and Thai bowl were mediocre at best and did not taste fresh. They had also missed to make the minor changes I had requested in the taco . Hot latte was served very cold and we had to ask them to redo it. Wouldn't return again.
Leahi was always my go-to after a hike. I would always go to the Aina Haina location; unfortunately, it recently closed down. Today we stopped by the Hawaii Kai location instead. I was really shocked at the difference in service at this location. I always felt welcomed at Aina Haina, the ladies there were amazing and always made everything perfectly, the taste was always consistent. However, the kale avocado tacos at Hawaii Kai were not the same quality as the ones at Aina Haina. There were barely any beans, no sauce, and no sesame seeds. My smoothie, the Sweet Tweet, was not the same quality as the Aina Haina location either.
I was not the only one who had an issue, as another woman there when I was had an issue with her smoothie. The ladies working were very condescending to her when she was saying it tasted wrong. They eventually remade it after being really rude to her. They also didn’t give her a full smoothie with her remake, it was definitely not full. When the lady left, the staff proceeded to speak badly about her and complain very loudly about the woman. It made me not want to go and voice my own complaints about my order.
The energy here was very “mean girl” and is definitely not something I support. I’ve never seen this at any of the other Leahi locations I’ve been to (Aina Haina or Kōloa, Kaua‘i), so not sure if it was a one off or what. But this location truly gave me a bad taste in my mouth in more ways than one.
Quick and friendly service. Food was flavorful! Recommend stopping by.

Waited 28 minutes for an acai bowl. People ordered after me and got their food before me. There was also a guy that ordered the same thing about 10 minutes after me and got his a few minutes before me.
The acai bowl itself was good, nothing to rave about. Its healthy. The acai was choppy, and on the harder /icy side than the softish icy side. Not a deal breaker, but as I said nothing to rave about.
Atmosphere is chill.

I forgot to take a picture because I literally inhaled the food (rainbow tacos), but it was very delicious.
YUCK. Smoothies are chunky and taste like ice cream? Not fruit-refreshing like. DO NOT waste your money here.

Leahi Health is hands down my favorite health bar on Oʻahu. Every time I walk in, the vibe is super welcoming and the food is consistently amazing. Everything tastes fresh, clean, and actually filling — not just “healthy” for the sake of it. You can really tell they care about the quality of ingredients and the experience.
What really makes this place special though is the staff. Everyone is friendly, positive, and genuinely seems happy to be there, which makes a huge difference. It always feels like you’re being taken care of, not just ordering food.
Special shoutout to Natalie, the manager — she absolutely crushes it. She keeps the place running smoothly, creates such a great atmosphere, and always makes customers feel welcome. You can tell how much effort and heart she puts into the place.
If you’re looking for healthy food that actually tastes incredible and a team that makes you want to come back, Leahi Health is the spot 🤙

Nice and clean place overall. The food is actually good, which is always a pleasant surprise. The staff is friendly enough that you don’t feel the urge to fake an emergency and leave immediately 😂
Would I come back? Probably not…
Would I recommend it? Also probably not…
But to be fair… the food is good…sometimes that’s enough for one visit.

So so good. I didn’t even know this place was vegan until I arrived, it was a happy surprise. I am super into fitness and their smoothies plus tacos are really well balanced and delicious. I highly recommend the Thai tofu tacos, though you will 100% need a napkin lol! 10/10

I’m hesitant to call this the best vegan restaurant on the island only because the food is so delicious it doesn’t even matter that it’s vegan, it’s just incredible food, period.
I had the breakfast taco, and it was so flavorful that I actually ordered a second one to take home for later! The prices are very reasonable, and the portion sizes are generous.
Bonus Tip: You can take your meal outside and sit right along the water. While the tables look like they might belong to the adjacent restaurant, they are actually open to the public. There’s nothing better than a great meal with a waterfront view. I’ll definitely be a regular here!
