Excellent. A must visit. I prefer the ones without filling, but the macadamia nut filling malasada is so good.

FULL CONFESSION
On the front side, I complained about stopping here for donuts because I wanted to get on with my day and had already had breakfast. But my daughter who had slept in insisted, so I obliged (on vacation after all). BOY AM I GLAD WE STOPPED. I order a 15 piece box with 5 sugar, 5 cinnamon, 3 chocolate filling and 2 guava filling. I didn't hear any complaints! The donuts were prepared fresh to order and came out piping hot, but leftovers were still more than satisfactory on Day 2! No survivors on the donuts! If I make it back to Hawaii, I'll be back!

Deserved reputation for best malasadas in Honolulu. No seating

Super fluffy, so delicious, and the guava filling is amazing—definitely my favorite malasada. It was crowded, which says it all! 🍩💖

We HAD to go there and try the Malasadas and Malasada Puffs. For a family of 4 (all adults) we got 2 cinnamon sugar Malasadas, 2 Dobash puffs, 2 Macadamia puffs, and 2 Custard puffs. They were warm and delicious! The fillings were great on the puffs. My favorite was the custard. My 22 and 26 year oldest favorites were the macadamia nut puff and the cinnamon sugar malasada. The husband loved them all! 🤣

Best thing we ate in Oahu. We had to make one last pit stop to get more right before our return flight

How satisfied you are with the malasadas will depend heavily on how much you had to wait in line. I arrived at 6am on the day after Christmas and there were only two people in front of me in the ordering line. Overall it took me 10 to 15 minutes total to get the donuts. The donuts were better than I expected! (I went there half expecting Dunkin Donuts boston cream...) Good breakfast option if you are in Waikiki and one in your party is willing to give up on morning sleep.

The donuts we got were decent, there was a hype with this bakery, but honestly its not that good. I was really disappointed in this place.

We'll, Leonard's does live up to their reputation for having hot and delicious malasadas. My only suggestion is for them to use paper bags instead of their pink plastic bags that continue to pollute the island that we all love and cherish. Let's preserve the aloha spirit by using paper bags instead 🤙

Back after several years and still just as I remembered. Brought my daughter to try this time. Order, wait and enjoy hot fresh goodness.

The malasadas are well worth the queue! We tried the plain as well as two filled ones and all of them were delicious.

I made it to finally taste the famous malasadas! I'm so happy that we got to go and get some. So warm, and soft, they were delicious! 😋
