I stop by every time I visit Hawaii.Freshly fried malasadas are delicious! ! !It's fluffy and not heavy at all, so you can eat it in one go.I think the simple original sugar and cinnamon are safe and the most delicious.Regarding the wait time, this time I went around 10am and it took about 5 minutes to order and 15 minutes to receive the malasada.I also bought some cute stickers!I like Hawaii Five-O, so I bought a lot of it, both to eat it as is and to eat it with coffee and malasadas.

Ordered half dozen of the original. They were warm and fresh and not too sweet. There was a line, but it moved quickly.

So bummed walked all the way from beach to get some Leonard's and it's closed Any reason you could not update yelp and tell people you are temporarily closed for remodel ? Your customers want to know how long we have to go without

I have missed Leonard's Malasada's since moving to Colorado! An absolute MUST visit to get these delicious treats! They always come out piping hot and fresh. Our wait was only about 5 minutes max. We get the original but they have some different fillings if you'd like. They to plan your visit accordingly! This spot has a very tiny parking lot and it is one way only. There are plenty of parking areas around if there are already a ton of cars waiting.

We tried this place serval time when we visited in O’ahu. So far, my favorites was Dobash (chocolate) and guava. Try their new flavor mango this time too, it’s yummy. When we ordered 6 but couldn’t finish it immediately, we took it back to hotel, and heat it up with microwave 30-45 seconds, it became just like fresh. However, 3 days ate 6 donuts was too much. lol

Last Saturday I was at Leonard's bakery In Honolulu very early in the morning thinking I was going to get fresh and very tasty Malassadas. I was totally wrong. I bought a dozen of expensive Malassadas. Once again very disappointed. Not only they didn't taste as good and they were drenched in grease and very super dark almost burnt on the outside and uncooked on the inside. Exactly like the ones I bought 2 years ago from one of their Malassadas truck. Not good at all. Totally disappointed.
