My Uber driver suggested this place. Said it's the best gyro on the island. It's right outside of Don Quijote. I agree, this is the best gyro on the island, and quite honestly the best I've had. Everything tasted fresh. The meat, the lettuce, onions, tomatoes and pita bread. It was so good. I wish I found this place sooner cause I'd ate here more than once. When I come back next month and any trip forward this will be a "go to" spot for me. It is cash only, but you can get cash back inside the market :)

Moussaka plate was boring & flat. The moussaka had no taste & eggplant was old and stringy.

If you're in the mood for Greek food, Leo's Taverna Express is a convenient place for a solid gyro. TIP: CASH ONLY! Make sure you take cash. [Location] Leo's Taverna Express is in front of Don Quixote. Parking is free and usually easy to find, though some times are much busier than others. [Service] The several times I've visited, there has been a super friendly gentleman that worked alone. He is very welcoming and quick at his job. I was surprised when two young women greeted me on my most recent visit this month. I was a little nervous the food wouldn't be as good, but I was ready to eat. Regardless of who is working, I find that the staff is kind and helpful. [Food] I usually get the gyro value meal. Since my initial visit, prices have been steadily climbing. I don't hold it against this business because inflation! I still think the food is worth the price point. Why the dock of 1 star? The food didn't taste the same on my most recent visit. The fries didn't have that lovely slightly-feta-cheesy Greek flair. They tasted of salt. The texture was perfect though! The pita bread may have changed as well. It is larger, and the portion was quite generous but it didn't taste as good nor was it as soft. The meat wasn't as flavorful either. Overall though, I will continue to support Leo's Taverna Express! The food is pretty good, as it the customer experience.

Kiosk outside of the Keheka Don Quixote food court. We used go sometimes go to the downtown one but this location much more convenient. It's a one man show so you'll have to wait a bit for the food. The menu offers gyros sandwiches, falafel, moussaka, chicken, spanakopita and other yummy items. We like to get a gyros sandwich for a quick take away but today we got the moussaka plate $14.55 Nice helping of layered eggplant topped with a béchamel sauce, rice pilaf, green salad, hummus and a pita. The béchamel was a little bland but the moussaka made up for it.Hubby and I shared- it was just right. Good place to fulfill your hankering for Greek food!

This is the worst Greek food i've ever had. You could do better yourself by picking up the ingredients at the grocery store. This tsatsiki was the consistency of half and half cream or milk, and it tasted like fish. The hummus and the tahini tasted tinny. They must have come straight from a can. The falafel was dried out and obviously not hand-made as each was identical. I suspect they were previously frozen for a long time and definitely overcooked. I threw most of it in the rubbish as it was disgusting. That was a colossal waste of money, and i'm still hungry. Don't do it.

Pretty good Gyros!Located outside in the food court area at Ala Moana Don Quixote. A take out kiosk but after ordering, you can sit at the numerous tables tight next to it.Ordered the #1 Gyro Sandwich (my first time eating here), and it was totally fine. Tasty and filling. With a can of soda, the total was just under $13. Seem to be a popular place as there is a constant stream of people arriving and ordering food! My food came in under 5 minutes wait by Leo, the hard working one man show!Support the small businesses like these and at the same time, bring some joy to our tummies! :D

Ordered take away through a food delivery service. Delivered fast, order was accurate. The lamb plate is delicious - piled high with meat, rice and a great hummus. The side salad was ok - I am not a fan of the bottled store bought ranch, but what can ya do? The tzatziki sauce made up for it. Light, refreshing and tasty. I would definitely order from Leo's again.

LOVE their gyro sandwich. I get it once a week. Very reasonably priced. This is a family-owned business, and they are absolutely the sweetest people. Definitely check them out!!

Went to the one at Don Quijote near Ala Moana. This a takeout only place although there's lots of outdoor tables there. Big thing, they are cash only. I was picking up a large order and was lucky that I had cash on hand. I think there's an ATM nearby. Food was good. I had the gyro plate. It was tasty and will order again. There were no complaints from the group which is good since we all got something different. Will go back the next time I was gyros.

UPDATE: the owner unfortunately reacted in the exact way that I anticipated, judging by my skimming of his response. It's sad how the 5 star reviews get simple, 1-2 sentence responses but negative ones get multiple paragraphs full of insults and in defensive/aggressive tones. It can't be great living with this much anger boiling inside you, constantly.Fragility is a sad thing.----I enjoyed the food and came to leave a review, but was immediately taken back by the extremely hostile, insulting, and immature response from the owner to the 1 star review. That was handled really poorly and isn't a good look even for loyal customers. You're showing everyone that you have an anger issue and scaring people away. Shows you can't stomach anything other than a scintillating 5 star review.Makes me think: if there actually is an issue with my food and I want to address it in person, will you also insult me and call me names, rather than working to sort out the issue together? It's a shame because the food is actually good. You taste it and you understand why so many people love it. I'm fully expecting to receive an anger tantrum from the owner, though I hope he doesn't for the sake of his own business.

The chicken wrap tasted like canned chicken thrown in a green tortilla with lettuce and ranch. There was no added seasoning or anything special. Very at home low effort type vibe, definitely not something that should be on a menu. Was at a two star but changed it to one after the incredibly unprofessional response.

Very nice. Just tried it today, it's delicious not too big, not too small also you can see when it gets sliced from the gyro broiler. I'll come back for the plate next time!!!
