The smoked octopus is outstanding. Ordered the Lobster Moco and Tavern Burger were both excellent. Apple tart was also great! Definitely going back to try other entrees. We received a free dessert because we were celebrating a birthday.
Our Perfect Stranger drinks, squid and cornbread appetizers, beet salad, and prime rib were delicious. Our servicer was also very good. My birthday sundae was great and large enough for our party of 4 to share. The only issue is the location on Hotel Street with homeless persons in the area...not the restaurants fault. Just very sad to see.
Clam chowder was very good and came out hot. Hen of the wood mushroom salad was very good also. Smoked prime rib was a little tough, not much smoke flavor but portion size was good. A group of women were seated on the same table as us next to the window and even though there were on the other end of the table, they were so loud talking and laughing it was quite distracting.
