When we arrived for our 11:00 am brunch reservation Sunday, the restaurant was empty except for one person at the bar. We were seated and our waiter Alan brought us menus and water promptly. There was a nice selection of reasonably priced brunch items. We each had a different type of Eggs Benedict (avocado, smoked salmon, and prime rib), which came with crispy country fried potatoes and roasted red peppers. Service was FANTASTIC and added to the overall atmosphere. Food was sooo delicious and portions were huge! Really appreciated that even though they're not advertised as a family-friendly restaurant and they don't have a keiki menu, they were willing to make a couple adjustments to menu items to accommodate my picky 9-year-old nephew :)
The service was great. We arrived right after they opened on a Friday, so the place was still pretty quiet. We ordered the French onion soup, the smoked octopus with sausage, and the duck entree. The soup was very good but over salted, the octopus was delicious but the sausage was nearly invisible, and neither of us like the duck or the sides it's comes with. I believe the duck was cooked to perfection, we just don't like duck I guess! It was paired with a wild rice...
