I ordered garlic chicken plate regular and it tasted great and they gave a lot. The service was very efficient and this place seemed busy even though I came at an off time. I do recommend this place.

I bought the Loco Moco mini for 12 bucks. The restaurant smells so good, and you can see the cooks in the back quickly making your food. Very good overall for a quick meal. 🍽👌

Had chicken katsu. It was good with generous portions. Drink refills are 50 cents.

Clean resturant, nice and efficient staff with good prices. I always get the same thing and they haven't disappointed me yet.
Pepper shrimp plate and loco moco plate.

Authentic local Hawaiian and Asian food. Really good. Friendly staff too. Quite a bit of selection as well.

This Plate lunch restaurant in Aiea is worth the visit. Clean dining room with simple inside outside seating. The highlights for me is that I had their Combo plate with hamburger steak with gravy, teriyaki beef and your choice of curry beef stew or just beef stew. I impressed with the hamburger patties they formed and made in house. They grilled my teriyaki to perfection (which there was some charring on the edges, the beef stew had some huge beefy chunks and giant carrots and potatoes. The Mac salad was perfect not to much mayonnaise and any kine vegetables or tuna. No need that stuff in Mac salad? I remember a place I went in the past and they had tuna in their Mac and they didn’t tell my friend who is allergic to tuna, brah he was out from work for 2 weeks because he had a reaction. People were telling him to sue but he chose to live through it then he told them what happened. Luckily the restaurant changed their preparation for Mac and chose to make a side order preparation with tuna.
Well this restaurant has a basic prep without tuna. My only wish for this place is I wished they focused on making and offering different kinds of Loco moco with salted cabbage or kimchi. Like a beef stew moko, laulau moko with or without gravy, even a Katsu moko, or a teriyaki moco. They should just be simply creative. It’s in their name and they should specialize in it. I’d probably come in for a Kalua pig loco moko if they made a pork gravy. Actually I’d probably come back for that I’ll ask for the gravy. Plus they should make their own beef gravy because I can definitely taste the packet gravy they serving or they can add some beef bullion to make it beefier.

Had the bbq burger platter. Bbq sauce was too salty for me. Don’t know if it’s always so salty or not. Next time I’ll try something else that doesn’t have bbq sauce.
Portions were generous - good-sized burger, lots of fries, and a nice-sized serving of mac salad.
I don’t usually eat fries and just eat the mac salad, but this time it was the reverse. I really liked their crinkle fries - nice and crunchy on the outside, and tasty! Found myself searching for the smaller, thinner fries that I could crunch on.
Will definitely go back and try other items on their menu, with a side of fries.

Meh. Didn’t like the food. The catsu chicken really wasn’t good. And I don’t know how you screw up iced tea, but it was terrible. They presented it as brewed iced tea, but I’m pretty sure it was bagged like the soda comes. I ended up throwing most of my food and drink away. Huge waste of money. The rice and macaroni was okay.

The young man at the counter was super friendly and helpful. We had spam musubi and chicken fried rice, and both were delicious.

Ate here for years and loved the house fried rice. Last time I went here the house fried rice didn’t have any pork or shrimp, which are the main ingredients of house fried rice. If you run out of pork and rice, simply stop selling the house fried rice. Don’t sell fried rice with no pork or shrimp, tasted horrible and was major rip-off and letdown. Lost my business pulling nonsense like that.

Basic plate lunch in Moanalua Shopping Center. Pretty decent sized portions. Prices gave increased recently as other reviewers have indicated, but still a good value and pretty convenient from the airport, leeward side, even downtown. The grilled shrimp is pretty good.
