The owner was really heartbroken because he said he's been here for 20 years. They moved near Safeway Kapahulu: please support them there. They make amazing garlic ahi, salt n pepper mochiko chicken, and a lot more variety of Hawaii comfort food.

Was going to go, but saw in a picture they charge 50 cents a refill. Bro you sell an expensive soda out of a fountain and then want to charge more for a refill? You just like cheap and scammy. I can’t imagine the amount you probably skimp on the portions.

Just a HUGE warning to all Loco Moco Drive Inn casuals, this location is highly inflated in pricing. Perhaps due to rent costs and other factors. The food quality is still good and service is fast. I ordered the Loco Moco. Two years ago it was like $13. But now it's $18. So EXPECT that your usual meal with a drink is going to cost you above $20.

I ordered garlic chicken plate regular and it tasted great and they gave a lot. The service was very efficient and this place seemed busy even though I came at an off time. I do recommend this place.

I bought the Loco Moco mini for 12 bucks. The restaurant smells so good, and you can see the cooks in the back quickly making your food. Very good overall for a quick meal. 🍽👌
