I'm not really a tea drinker, but I get dragged along to every tea shop within a 50 mile vicinity of wherever my wife is at... This place is located in the downstairs garage area of the Ala Moana center. I had never heard of it, but my wife apparently had so off we went! Walking in, the location is lighted really well and you immediately see the wide assortment of teas (both packaged and in bins so you can pick and choose tog et what you want packed. They also have an assortment of tea accessories like steepers, pots, and other knickknacks that I have no clue about. The employees were helpful and gave the wife a few recommendations. All in, it was a good experience. I don't know much about teas, but I'm sure there were varieties available that you cannot normally get elsewhere, which is why I got dragged here. BTW, they offer online shopping as well so you can order teas if you can't or won't ever fly to Honolulu!

Everytime I come here it's like I am in a tea museum. Always in an awe. The smell is so calming and I just wanna stay here the whole time. I adore this tea shop in Ala Moana Center on the Lanai side. They got plenty of choices when it comes to flavor from loose to bag. Unique flavors like ratatam, matcha black soybean rice tea & their Hawaii exclusive teas. They also sell tea pots & serving cups which is by the way very pretty in which some are made in Japan. I love teas and I always get their green tea & chamomile when I'm here. I also tried their matcha & elderberry. They are pretty tasty and love the pure flavor. The staffs here are nice and would love to assist you when you need one. Tea lovers out there you need to check this out. I am sure there will be always something that you will love here. Mahalo & happy juandering fellow Yeeps!

I go here because I don't really.habe anywhere else to go. They have tons of different teas and too many employees. They are always busy packing or unpacking something but none of them seems to know much about tea. If you ask, they get snobby, but can't answer questions about the teas. It is also rather expensive compared to what I've been able to buy in other countries.Still, I enjoy loose leaf teas and don't like the prepackaged teabags. I like to brew my own Chai, milk tea with a strong assam, etc. They also have a nice collection of teacups. If anyone has another tea shop, send me a dm so I can check it out

As a tea lover, you must go! So I visited. The store was clean and I was happy to get the Hawaii limited edition series. However, I once again realized how wonderful the Japanese Lupicia store clerks are. Many of the people there were a bit unfriendly, and there was no atmosphere like in Japan where they offered customer-friendly suggestions or encouraged tastings.

Hi I'm Brigitte and I have a tea addiction! Haha, admitting an addiction is the first step. I guess I could have worse addictions. Sooo I have to always scope out the local tea places and read reviews to see where I'm going to go. This place was top of my list and I made a shopping list of what I wanted before I went. Which actually helped because the staff member that helped me out was able to explain which ones I'd like better based on flavor I was looking for. I ended up getting the Paradise Green and the Momoko. I couldn't wait to try so I opened the paradise green. It's so delicious. Has great flavor. Light tropical taste. Love it. Be sure to follow directions for brewing. Also got a cute mug and some tea strainers. Upon entering this store it's amazing. Bright and beautiful! Smells great and is very organized!! They are pricey but it's great quality!

Great tea store. Spent some time to find a store like this (not a boba tea store). This place sells loose-leaf tea leaves and in tea bags. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful. I am impressed at that attention to detail.

This is definitely the most fancy tea store i ever see in US! I visited fancy tea store in Shanghai fancy shopping mall, and this store has the most trendy tea as Shanghai! Amazing! Honolulu is so international! I guess it's also because it has so many international visitors. Husband got 2 bag of Puer tea from China, he is very happy. He recently get on this tea after reading an article talking about the numerous benefits for seniors. So he wants to get some in Honolulu! Glad we found it!

Super great experience here, with such lovely teas to choose from. The young man working today was so knowledgeable and lead me in the proper direction for iced teas, and something floral. I’m more of a coffee person but I enjoy teas as well, with so many options to choose from I felt a little overwhelmed but he brought me some samples of teas he thought I might enjoy and I can’t wait to try it, it smells so lovely. Great gift options for any tea lovers in your life. Thank you :)

An awesome tea shop - well stocked with so many varieties of tea leaves. Some of pure single origin, and others are blends of tea leaves and other ingredients. They carry local Hawaiian blends which I imagine you can't get outside these areas. They also sell tea pot, and serving cups. Some are made in Japan. The tea are sold in a prepackaged tin container, or bags. I imagine one can buy also by weight. Tea lovers should definitely plan a visit if you're in the area.

This is one fancy tea shop and the prices definitely reflect that. You can find whatever kind of tea you want here. They have it all including a chocolate and strawberry tea. I usually just get the green tea or chai tea. I haven't really tried anything else. I have to say that their teas are smooth like butter. I guess you get what you pay for. I've always gotten good service. They always ask if I need help finding anything and make suggestions. They're also good at giving samples of tea to take home and try.
