This was such a breath of fresh air in comparison to the food we’d been eating in Hawaii. Delicious and healthy. Light. Easy on the stomach. Fresh, delicious veggies. Honestly soooo good!! I got the chicken wrap, my husband got the hummus wrap, and we shared the tomato basil soup. Comes with either chips or side salad. Everything was great! Service was super friendly too. The 2 dressings were icing on the top of the wraps! Plus nice outdoor seating by the water. Beautiful views. It’s can be tricky to find but if you see the walkway next to Panda Express go back there and it’s on the left.

The sandwiches are good, but have become horrifically overpriced. For what you’re paying, I would at least hope for freshly baked sandwich bread or lettuce that isn’t wilted. Unfortunately, while this place used to once be one of my favorite spots to stop for a fresh and tasty lunch, the quality has diminished while the prices have risen. You can easily make these sandwiches at home.

stopped by the māla market before heading to the blowhole for a light lunch and this sandwich place was pretty good , i dont normally like sandwiches but these are flavorful and filling they fill it with many toppings and you pick which meat or type of sandwich you want. the staff were nice we went in asking a bunch of questions thst if we read the menu 90% of our questions would’ve been answered but staff was friendly and did answer us without hesitation . we tried club sandwich and chicken salad wrap both were good and worth the money . they have both indoor and outdoor seating where you can see the water very pretty setting

Māla Market in Hawaii Kai has the MOST fresh sandwiches filled with love and the most incredible views! My husband and I came here after church and became obsessed! You come in and are greeted by a few workers working almost like an assembly line! You order and they make sandwiches with the most fresh ingredients, Dave’s killer bread (21 grain), and it’s so quick! I recommend the Italian Sandwich! My husband said his Tuna Salad Sandwich was delicious! If you sit outside, you’re greeted by paradise… LITERALLY! It’s stunning. I highly recommended this place. You will leave 10x happier

I recently tried the Mala Delight sandwich, made vegan, at Mala Market, and it was truly excellent. This sandwich comes with a generous amount of fresh vegetables and includes vegan mayonnaise and avocado (without an extra charge). It's served with a side of potato chips. If you're looking for a good vegan meal, I recommend checking out Mala Market. The vegan Mala Delight sandwich is a solid choice.

Did take out lunch - chicken salad wrap and chicken salad sandwich. They were huge but stuffed with goodness of carrots, sprouts, greens, etc. Very tasty and filling. I also enjoyed the tea mixes - we got a plantation tea (tea + pineapple) and an Arnold Palmer. I was looking for something fresh and not heavy - this was perfect.
Oh and they use Dave’s Killer Bread - I love that stuff!

Absolute gem. It's definitely worth stopping here if heading in this direction. The staff are so lovely, friendly and help with suggestions if needed. Everything is freshly made, with humongous portions and importantly at fair prices. Their iced teas are amazing. Strongly recommend. Looking forward to going there again when next in Oahu.
