On the backside of the shopping plaza, near Costco, which inherently makes parking more challenging on the weekends. A relatively small menu, but that means that they make really good quality stuff. Very loaded sandwiches, good customer, service, and quick turnaround.
I was happy with the food and prompt service. I was surprised by the prices. $50 for three takeout wraps. No beverages.

We recently moved near Hawai'i Kai, and I've been craving sandwiches. Mala Market is perfect for light yet filling sandwiches. They're made fresh, and inside, the cafe overlooks the bay so you have great views to enjoy your meal with ¨ We got their veggie and chicken salad sandwich -- both tasted phenomenal. The veggies are crispy and the breading tastes light. You have the option for chips or salad and the side dressing that comes with the salad is super good. Check them out -- great to take to the beach ~~

Who knew that a sandwich gem was so close?We had the shrimp salad sandwich (4/5) and Italian avo special (4/5). Both were arranged beautifully and full of fresh veggies. I truly enjoyed eating the special sandwich for the day--tuna sandwich. It was filled with Mayo, sprouts, cucumber, carrots, provolone cheese which is my cheese choice, tomato and lettuce. The tuna and all the fixings were very tasty, fresh tasting, and well worth the price. The staff is very personable. The interior is bright, cheery, and clean. There are seats outside and inside. I also enjoyed the tasty lemonade drink.

Sandwiches are good. Healthy. They make it and present it so nicely. Each sandwich combo comes with a small side salad or chips. And they make very refreshing and lightly sweet lemonade and other drinks as well. The pastrami was good, I'm not used to cold healthy pastrami lol but it was good. I love their turkey avocado sandwich. Their lemonade was very refreshing

I’ve had someone give me a sample sandwich from this place before and I decided to try it out myself. It is a cute, little store hidden by the Kailua Shopping Center, but the secluded area make it a great place to eat by the water. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. The sandwiches taste as good as they look! I enjoy all of the additional toppings they add to the the sandwiches which make it feel like I’m eating a sandwich that was made with love. As corny as this may sound, having to make my own sandwiches that don’t taste as good because I don’t put in half the effort as these folk makes me really appreciate this place.
Delicious healthy sandwiches. Love that they use Dave’s Killer Bread and other fresh ingredients. Love coming here to have a quick lunch on the water.
