Visiting in Honolulu and eating all the different foods. I wanted something simple and comforting that would sit right with my stomach. I wanted something familiar. A turkey and ham sandwich did the trick. It was a simple yet delicious homemade sandwich. It's a small little place situated in a busy part of town, but they have a parking lot in back to park. We ordered delivery so can't comment on atmosphere, but service is SPOT-ON! We have a picky-picky man in our office, but he pays for lunch, so we do what we can for him - I ordered him a sammy and said not to let any pickles or mustard near his sammy. His sammy arrived perfect with a lovely handwritten note, "..entirely unsullied by mustard and pickles" LOVE IT! .. and obvi sammys are delicious, gigantic and now I need a nap.
I've patronize this place twice now. The first experience was very good. Service was great and the sandwich was good. The second visit I had an issue with the service- the young man that helped me on my second visit I specifically told him no mayo. As he begins to put mayo on the sandwich I reminded him that I did not want mayo. He then tried to bargain with me that since he only put a little bit, I should be OK with it so he didn't have to throw the bread away. That...
