Really lovely sushi restaurant with high quality fish. There’s paid parking in a parking lot next to the restaurant and also a mix of free and paid street parking nearby. The interior space has counter seating for 6-8 people and a few tables for larger parties. Reservations aren’t required, but are recommended if you want to get a seat at the sushi bar.

Excellent, authentic Japanese food, one of the best I've been to. But when we were there, there was one chef, so the whole experience was ruined by dishes coming out so late. If you don't mind the wait, I would have to say it's one of the most authentic Japanese restaurants I've ever been to. I would call to check on how many chefs are available.
Amazing Japanese restaurant with the freshest tuna sashimi I've had in all of Hawaii. Food menu was diverse and unfussy, focused on traditional Japanese maguro (tuna) offerings. Maguro-ya is now my go-to Japanese restaurant on Honolulu.

Parking: Parking in paid area behind restaurant, with access to other eateries in Kaimuki.
