Walked by many times in Ala Moana's Lanai food court near Macy's and decided that the long line was an indicator to try them. Most of the sandwhiches and display case was empty 1.5 hours before closing hours. One staff prepares the order while the other rings you up. Wait time for orders maybe 5-10 minutes depending on size and quantity. Rating is based on the fact that the order was verbally stated twice yet still rung up wrong. No greeting from cashier. Order came out incorrect. And the overall dining experience was a messy one. Opt for their neighbors next door if you're looking for reasonably priced, delicious food with pleasant customer service.

Amazing bread on their sandwiches and deserts ! You want to try them all but you’ll probably have a carb overdose. Very delicious beverages as well! But, it is in a food court so kind of rough getting seating and it’s loud.
Okay katsu sandwiches, would not eat here again as there are better katsu places around

The strawberry milk is to die for, made with fresh strawberries and no artificial syrups! the sandwiches are nicely crafted and super tasty, wether you want savory or sweet!!! Give it a try!!

At 14:30 on weekdays in December 2024, I was hungry, so I took a break at the small food court "Lanai" on the second floor. Lobster sandwich 8.00$ Fruit mix sandwich 5.75$ Eat strawberry milk 6.75$. The saltiness of the lobster and the sweetness of the mixed fruit sandwich (pineapple, kiwi, strawberry, orange) are delicious. The strawberry milk is quite sweet, but it has a lot of fruit pulp in it 👍

Up in the little Asian food court at Ala Moana Mall is a gem of a desert/light lunch place. If you are wondering the vast expanse that is Ala Moana this is a place to stop and take a break. I recommend the strawberry croissant. The wife and I split one then had to go back for a whole one for each of us.
The coffee jelly milk is good as well. If you know about anime "The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.", then you've heard of coffee jelly. This is the best that I've found on the island so far. If you don't know about coffee jelly and are adventurous enough to try new foods, this should be on your todo list.
The food court gets packed around lunch time so seating can be hard to find. I suggest going between lunch and dinner when it flows down a bit.
