The restaurant hours are from 5:00 am to 11:00 pm. That is for both the dining room and drive-thru.
They always lock the dining doors by 9:00 pm or in some cases much, much earlier. For example, tonight, they locked the dining room doors at 8:30 pm (possibly earlier).
The decal that displays the dining room and drive thru hours have been altered. The decal for the dining room open hours and close hours has been removed from the decal for every day of the week.
Just a few months ago, they had signs that said we open till 11:00 pm. The website hours are listed Monday through Sunday 5:00 am to 11:00 pm.
Many patrons who wanted to go into the dining room left because the doors were locked. They did not go thru the drive thru. They just left.
This is totally pathetic. They do this all the time!
I wonder if the owner is aware of this. If I were the owner, I would not be happy that my restaurant was actually closed during my stated hours of operation. Why would a sign be posted stating the dining room is open to 11:00 pm, but the dining room doors are locked by no later than 9:00 pm.
It's relaxing.
Now this McDonald's always gets my order correct. The food is the same at all the McDonald's. After a long day of work, I am too tired to check if my order is right. This is the location is prefer.
I would say I'm very thankful for McDonald's even though it's a fast food place with lots of noise and all kinds of people-- sometimes homeless people run in and out to use the restrooms or ask for meal.
So I feel rather comfortable there because I can just sit down and relax in the cool air conditioning with even just a fish patty if I don't want all the calories of the white bread. And then Iced tea that has no calories and no sugar. It's a refreshing place to recharge a bit without having to worry about how you look. The bathrooms
are usually kept clean, which is good.
A lot of teenagers after school go there, so it's kind of light-hearted.
It's a little bit like an Oasis, when there are no restaurants, really close that are inexpensive where you just want to sit down and relax a bit with something small.
I tried the local deluxe platter. I wouldn’t have stopped at a McDonald’s in Hawaii with all the amazing food options, but a friend of mine told me that they have a few local items. I just wanted to try it. And sure enough the local platter has rice, Spam, eggs, and sausage. Not your normal McDonald’s breakfast that we’re all used to, you can still order that though. But this was pretty good.
Small busy Mc d's. Near beach. Limited parking. Be patient and all will be good.
Quaint
Fast service, hot food, and friendly servers!
I ordered a bacon quarter pounder with cheese and they leave out the bacon. They tell me to drive into one of the stalls to wait for my cookies. 15 minutes later I walk up to the drive thru and they forgot that I was waiting. They will often screw up with their pies. You order haupia and get apple. You order order taro and they give you apple. It’s 50/50 whether they get your order right.

After 15 years of coming here, I am finally over this place, Over priced, inconsistent food. It’s Hawai’i over priced as is. But breakfast time is the only time to come to this place for great service, “ok food” proportion is consistent. But lunch and dinner I am simple I come for fries, shakes, and apple pies. Every here and there I’ll order actual food instead of sweets/treats. Every time I order food it’s usually the crispy chicken sandwich, the size of the meat it self depends on who is there, I’ve had a descent size, where I feel I am getting closer to what I paid for, but 90% of the time, the chicken is small and or overcooked, I add bacon which is only one choice, add 3 strips for 3 dollars 40-50cents. So with sandwich being 6.20 ish I am paying 10 for it. You never what you’ll get, Sometimes I get 3 full strips of bacon, most of the time I get 3- 1/4 to 1/2 strips, When I mention it to the employees, they say it’s normal. Tonight, I was so angry I smashed it and threw it away, I wish I had got a picture. It was so small, overcooked, and the bacon, I got maybe one strip cut into 3 small pieces. Paying 10 dollars for this sandwich is beyond ridiculous and knowing when you complain, they do nothing about it, and say it’s normal. So that was my last time going to this McDonalds. I’ve been pretty loyal in 15 years, paying for B.S, only complained maybe 4 times in the 15 years. This was the last straw. I get inflation, but shrinking and over cooking the food, and then talking to the employees, then they get mad for their mistakes, they expect 20 + an hour??? Most of those employees with their attitude should all be fired.

Feel safe knowing the taste you know. Juices are the same size and cost $1.49. Drinks feel pretty cheap.

Stopped on for some fried pies since there is only one location on the mainland in Downey, CA that we can get them. Pies were great, and the employees were super nice! Maholo!
