This review is long overdue. If our family is ever in the mood for generous portions of our favorite comfort foods, at a very reasonable price, our Hawaii Kai L&L is our 'Go To' place. We've been going to them for years, and I'm still always amazed at how even their mini takeout packages are literally packed with our selections (and I'm not talking about the rice; I'm talking about the entree). Somehow we always end up eating here. It’s truly a hole in the wall spot but the workers are friendly and the food is yummy. A classic l&l experience. Not completely convinced of the cleanliness of the place but maybe it’s just old and run down/ out of date. I love how tender the bbq chicken is and the crunch on the katsu is delicious.
