Won’t go there anymore. Their staff is very respectful of their customers. I went there book for 3 musubi in 8am. I asked how long it will take because we are in a rush for a book tour. The Staff said it will take 15min at the first. I said I can’t wait and I want to pick it up later today. And she is very rude to me said I didn’t say it before and change to it will take less than 15min. Finally it ended up with only takes 3min. She also asked us to wait outside even there’s no other customers

Never noticed this store in my previous trips in Waikiki, perfect place for a snack when you are hungry, the eel and avocado musubi is the best.

The staff was not helpful. I was placing an order by mistakes, and she said she couldn’t replace it even though I haven’t received my food. Then I made another order and asked whether they had the one with tofu skin and eggs, and she said no. Later I found out that they actually have inari (tofu) egg musubi! The musubi served in the branch is not as good as the one sold in Waikiki.

For this location I’m specifically shocked that it took close to 30 minutes to get a mini bowl, one musubi and one roll. We weren’t even allowed to wait inside so, standing outside for 27 min was not a great experience. We board at 10 AM in store. This also made us late for an appointment.

I ordered avocado bacon musubi and a small chicken rice bowl. The seasoning for the chicken was too sweet so it was hard to eat, and the musubi was expensive compared to its size. It's so small that one won't fill you up.

If you open early in the morning and order food, it will come out quickly so it would be good for a quick meal to go.
I have no intention of visiting again ㅠㅠ

I have come to you several times when I wanted to eat Japanese food or rice in Hawaii.
It has an image similar to what is known as Hot Mott in Japan.
They offer freshly made rice balls and bento boxes at relatively low prices.
A bento shop with delicious rice in Hawaii.
After ordering, you have to wait outside the store, which can be hot and painful depending on the time of year.

Was expecting some flavor in the rice but turns out it was actually plain Japanese rice - or at least that’s what I experienced. Perhaps it was on purpose to reduce the saltiness from spam.

Otherwise the onigiri is also worth trying.

This place was the vibe.
This place is what I talk about when Hobolulu is mentioned! We lived all of the types of Musubi you can get, and we couldn't have been happier! Keep up the great work!

The female staff treated me poorly.I asked for a pair of chopsticks, but instead of asking how many I needed, I returned to the store in frustration and only brought one pair of chopsticks. I have been taken care of several times, but I will never go again.
