This is the coffee that dreams are made of. Delightfully but delicately sweet, the black sesame “kuro game” is the matriarch of iced coffees. You have never had an iced coffee like this. It hits you with a light sweetness and the perfect amount of coffee flavor. Enough so you know you’re drinking fresh espresso, but not overpowering. But you know, in your heart of hearts, that those are freshly ground high quality beans in this drink. But then, in the next wave, comes the black sesame. And what a wave it is. It fuses together the drink in a magic mix of umami flavor that your tongue has not tasted before. And it never will again— at least not until the next time you buy their coffee. The finality comes with the gentle cold creaminess of the oat milk that mixes it all together in a happy dance of love, selfishly holding together this mix of flavors in the background, the maestro conducting the orchestra. Bring this coffee to the beach and take solace, for a moment, in realizing life is better than you thought it was. You are free.

The Hojicha Latte was SO good! The hojicha flavor was very strong, unlike in most hojicha flavored drinks I've had around town. Cute Japanesey-style cafe atmosphere with friendly staff.Parking: Metered parking along Liliha Street but there is also free parking further up past the Kuakini Street intersection.

Drinks are very good. A separate vendor was selling banana bread muffins and loaves in their shop. Mini muffins- just ok. Worth going back for their drinks.

I love supporting local businesses and this little shop is so close to my house. The shop is on the main street of Liliha and has cute decals on their windows. The interior is even cuter and gives comfy coffee shop vibes. I picked up a drink for myself and 2 for my family. The price is expensive but I understand if you're shopping local. I had the Ume Iced Tea which was delicious! My sister had the Hojicha Latte and she said it tasted like chocolate milk. The staff were so sweet and patient as I tried to figure out which flavors to choose. I really enjoyed the experience in the shop!

Who knew melon and strawberry almond milk could taste so smooth? As an Asian with slight lactose-intolerance, I'm so glad NekoKoneko brought this concept to Hawaii. I can finally enjoy flavored milk! Since the cafe is so young, there's not much yet. But what they do have is worth visiting over and over; you're gonna run out of that melon milk fast if you love it as much as I do! I'm not a coffee person so I didn't pay attention to any other products. Again, since the cafe is still young I'm looking forward to seeing how it expands it's menu. Currently, the online order system is the way to go to guarantee you get your hands on their drinks because I've heard they sell out, but I walked in around 12:30 and they still had strawberry and melon available (literally the only two things I buy from them). Overall, cute little cafe that's hidden in plain sight with Japanese roots and decor. Parking is hard to find, but when you get a spot, you did it. You can savor your accomplishment inside with great drinks, maybe even read some manga or enjoy what's playing on the screen. There's not many seats, but I wouldn't mind sitting down on the ground to just enjoy the peaceful environment in the middle of busy Liliha.

Very friendly small owned business go check them out! I searched for a pick me up that was located not too far off the H1 and decided to give this a try. I am thrilled and would stop again if I am on the island. They sell premade coffee flavors in plastic bottles (I assume they are reusable). However they will allow you to sample your flavors before you commit. The young man at the counter was knowledgeable about the different options and coffee strengths and I trusted him and wasn't disappointed!

tldr; - cute vibey Japanese-esque coffee shop - not a lot of seating (granted they were busy for their 1st anniversary) - easy to find street parking Visited this cute little cafe for their 1st anniversary and loved it! There is plenty of street parking (see photo from their instagram outlining where the parking is) and it is easy to find to find on the main street. As soon as I walked in the door, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, addressing any questions I had. I ended up buying the matcha and hojicha drinks to go and ordered an iced BlackPink drink. The combination of strawberry flavor and espresso was well-balanced and delicious. I think I'll try the Cold Brew with oat milk next time along with an Ube Latte. The inviting vibes makes it an ideal spot to work remotely. It's a good thing I don't live too close or else I would need to redo my budget to account for more matcha lattes!

I WANT TO TRY THEM ALL! I finally got to taste the three flavors I got from my first visit and THESE ARE SO GOOD! I got the Caramel Macnut, Ube Latte and Cold Brew "Shiro". Their coffee is definitely on the sweet side but I'm into that, plus they offer a cup of ice if you'd like to dilute it a little or just keep it cold. Service is fast since majority of the drinks are pre-made and in a fridge - easy grab and go.. which is good because parking can be tough with limited street parking. Not sure how often they change their menu because I was able to get their Ube Latte which I didn't see on their Feb 1 menu (I came on the 4th) I guess it's based on availability? Cool they constantly have a variety of flavors. Honestly, the Ube was my favorite flavor from the three SO FAR.. since I'm going to come back have try more lol. Had my friends try the flavors I got and they also give it 5/5. Highly recommend!

I love this coffee shop! The whole vibe on the inside is just so cute and well decorated and the coffee is out of this world. Best coffee (cold brew) on the island in my opinion. Only downside is there is VERY little seating to be able to enjoy the atmosphere while you drink your coffee.

An outstanding experience for fun cold brew drinks, hojicha latte, and more! Located just off the H1 and Liliha, this small cold brew coffee shop is super cute, and the drinks were superb. I have finally found a delicious iced hojicha latte: smooth, strong enough, just a bit sweet with oat milk and agave (no dairy, yay). Other spots just don't compare (one of which is in Honolulu and Irvine). Most drinks come in a pre-filled 16 oz simplistic bottle, so the price is judt slightly higher than in Southern CA given the size. They offer a cup with ice if you want to keep your drink extra chilled. My family got their drinks in the usual to-go plastic cups (some offerings come this way). My sister enjoyed the blueberry cold brew, and my mom and I loved our sips, too! The blueberry flavor came strongly at first, but then was followed by a lovely cold brew flavor--felt fairly complex. The mango/apricot tea was lovely and just a touch creamy. My bro in law enjoyed his kuro cold brew latte. We all enjoyed the white and light wood ambience with plenty of cat and anime/manga decor as well as some hidden kitties throughout the shop. There are two tables that seat approx 4 (one with bench seating can squeze in 1 more of 2 more small guests). Staff were friendly and helpful with ordering. Parking is metered street parking. On a random Mon afternoon, we parked right in front. If I weren't visiting and eating dessert multiple times a day, I would definitely have gotten a melon, orange cream or ichigo milk to try--hope to come back next time I'm in town!

Neko Koneko is sooo amazing. They are my favorite coffee/drink cafe. I've tried almost all of their drinks and I personally believe that their Cold Brew Shiro/Caramel Macnut are the best options with a special mention of their (Peppermint, seasonal?) Matcha Latte. The drinks are pre-made in individual bottles and given in boxes if a large amount is ordered. It's a small, aesthetic cafe with friendly employees, unfortunately, however, in a hard to reach area with horrible parking.

Absolutely a must stop for coffee or tea! The workers were very kind and the atmosphere was very cute. Parking is a bit hard to obtain but definitely worth the stop in.
