Creepy spooky halloween themed bar. There is a halloween/musty smell as part of the vibe. the only food they serve is popcorn and candy. Their drink prices are alright, the presentation is only glass-like plastic cups. The sharable pumpkin punch has a plastic bag to make it food safe which kinda ruins the pictures. The glowsticks are def not food safe if they were to break in the punch. Its located near the USPS and starbucks on the first floor.

Parking: Not many stores by the bar so lots of open parking.

Wheelchair accessibility: Bar is flat on one level so wheelchair accessible. The tables may be a bit high in height.

It's a great restaurant, with excellent food, good variety, delicious drinks. The lanai has a nice view. This is a great place for a relaxing lunch whether shopping, or just going with friends or family. Even my husband loves going here for lunch!

We had an absolutely amazing lunch here at Mariposa. The lobster sandwich was delicious. The service was friendly and fast. The patio had a great view of the ocean in front of the Ala Moana. Definitely would recommend checking it out.

This place is a hidden gem! We live with 90-year-old grandparents and our 10-year-old twins so eating out all together after COVID is such a luxury. The sunset dinner venue at Mariposa is a perfect environment - clean tables well-spaced, nice mix of open air/AC with soft tropic fans in the ceiling, live music, beautiful sunset views, and fabulous food - classic meals with a "local" twist. There is a GM (Mr. Takasaki) who takes great care to make sure every table is well cared for, and our waitress was so well trained, our water cups never went below halfway. The desserts were first class – fabulous combination of cheesecakes, torts and affogato. Romantic couples, family happy, business serious – try this centrally located restaurant, you won’t regret it!

We visited the Ala Moana Shopping Center during our recent trip to Honolulu. Dining at the Mariposa was quite nice as many of the other restaurants are glorified fast food --- so it was nice to have a quiet place to dine with a nice menu, wine list, and great view.

Beautiful little bar. I'm not a lover of Christmas but the vibes of the employees along with the them of the bar was quite enjoyable .

Amazing Christmas drinks and atmosphere. The selection was perfect, music was in the holiday mood, the decorations were great. If you are at Ala Moana for shopping or the rain till December 31, you mus/ stop by this pop up bar. Thank you guys very much for a great time.

I would leave zero stars if I could. Had to wait over 20 mins after requesting a seat on the lanai, but was seated inside without being told they don't seat a party over 4 people outside. Others who came later were seated before our group even though we ended up getting the same size table as them. Quality and price changed from how it was before and the general manager who came over to our table couldn’t have been more arrogant. Seriously overpriced for very mediocre food. Have no clue why the restaurant was still packed with locals. Only thing I would recommend is that you eat somewhere else... don't waste your money.

Service and food was excellent, no complaints what so ever. I highly recommend this restaurant. It is located on the third floor in the store ocean side, you must have reservations.

I took my fetching wife and her mother to Mariposa to Neimann Marcus at the Ala Moana Shopping center for her birthday. Reservations were for 5 pm. We were seated in a semi outdoor atmosphere, overlooking Magic Island. Sun was setting and we were hungry. Out waiter Keith, came and presented the menus and commenced to offer the specials. All of a sudden I felt like I was thrown into an amplified surround booth. I said, please lower your voice, to which he responded, “ I have a hearing disability”. Ok i thought, didn't need to know that. I just wanted a softer presentation, you know, lower the volume please. It was far from a loud environment as it was only 5 pm. So, after that awkward scene, the volume lowered and we ordered. My wife had the Pan Roasted Kona Kampachi, comes with wild rice, Swiss chard and a chili lime butter. Very light and a generous portion. I had the Ahi Fennel salad, beautifully prepared, lightly seared, on top of greens, a stepped up version of a Nicoise Salad, tomatoes, egg, green string beans, olives and their house made salad dressing. This is the second time I've had this, and it's now my go to dinner when in the area. One of the best salads I've ever had, that's if you like Seared Ahi. Overall, a very good experience. Service was excellent except for the "specials of the day wake up call". Other than that I look forward to returning. Park at the mall, walk around, work up an appetite and treat yourself to an excellent meal. Oh, btw, they are also know for their house popovers, served with a delicious guava butter immediately presented at your table while you wait for your order.

I have never had a bad meal at any Neiman Marcus restaurant. No exception this time. Perfect service from a lovely waitress named Janine. The greeting and floor management, however, were no less than catastrophic. Surly hostess and belligerent floor manager more interested in courting Japanese tourists laden with NM shopping bags than others, including yours truly. Clearly double standards apply here. Remember, Neiman Marcus: the Japanese clientele may rule in Hawaii, but not in New York, Dallas, Beverly Hills or anywhere else on the mainland. Do not shoot yourselves in the foot. Please.

Had lunch with a friend, who had highly suggested this place. Nice, relaxing atmosphere, sitting on the lanai. Food was excellent.

Much better than expected and great ambiance. Make a reservation on open table before you approach the front desk person - we were told 45 minute wait and pulled up the app - made a reservation and sat within 10 minutes.
