$195 per head Omasake , located in fourseasons lanai, the scenery alone worth the price , let alone heavenly food, best ingredients , warm and friendly staff. We stayed in fourseasons lanai and went back several times !

not that much of a missing to see them go. My hubby always take me here to show off to his clients & I never enjoy as they do aside from good service. Still only the food is mediocre and over priced. Pizza hut is well worth more ?

My 500th review. We're all aware of the hype of Nobu, and so I did have certain high expectations. They were met, and overall, we had an amazing meal. Definitely the biggest splurge during our entire trip, but I walked in fully knowing that I will be paying big bucks for good food and excellent service. We ordered maybe 2 cold dishes, 2 hot dishes, the sushi set, a bunch of nigiri, a noodle soup, maybe a veggie dish, and who knows what else. Everything was delicious. We were a party of 3, and it was for a special occasion, so we went wild. We had a bottle of sake and 2 cocktails each. The bill was no joke, but sometimes, you just have to live a little. It was a fine dining experience and we felt very fancy. Save this place to celebrate something! Life needs more celebrations.

Let me just start off by saying....fresh! Fresh! Fresh! My entire pregnancy all I have been able to handle meat wise is fish. Particularly sushi. I know, I know. However everything and i mean everything was super good, full of flavor and did i mention fresh Atmosphere was great, too was too dark to take photos of dishes but the ambience was perfect for a cozy date night. Everyone was super friendly, knowledgeable and professional. After all of that it was really nice to my wallet: i expected to pay soo much more for what we got. Not complaining though! I will definitely be back 6-8 more times before I leave island this fall (That coconut mochi was super!!)

Nobu was great. The vibe was great as soon as you walked in. I called ahead because I wasn't sure of the vegan situation. Our server was great about explain what was vegan and what could be modified. We had the lilikoi margarita, veggie an led avocado sushi, crispy rice with avocado, veggie tacos and the toban yaki vegetables. Everything tasted great, the flavors were very interesting. Definitely a spot worth visiting.

This was excellent and super classy. The food was unusual and delicious, especially the black cod hot appetizer. Our waiter and the wait staff was responsive and happy to explain the unusual Japanese dishes. He set us up with course after course of delicious appetizers and sushi rolls. It was expensive but well worth it. The whole experience was terrific and we left super satisfied, I tipped 40% I was so pleased with everything. I've done that once before (see my review on House Without a Key) and I hope to return to Hawaii someday just to eat in these two places.

We have been visiting Nubu for years now, and it is definitely the most consistent restaurant in Honolulu. Their Sake Old Fashioned are a must, and feature a clear, hand carved ice cube. Ridiculous!

The food was so creatively presented, so delicious and lovely to see that we want to go back! Luckily there are locations all over the world...

Fusion Asian Food - this is what the place is known for. The way they present the food is extraordinary. I think the style is so interesting that I haven't seen any Japanese restaurant (in Hawaii yet) that does something like this. Who puts sushi in a cup? Haha If you are looking for authentic Japanese food, this place is not for you. Price - VERY expensive. You probably spend around $200-$400 for two people because the portion is SO SMALL and the price is outrageous. I was shock when I saw that 2oz Wagyu was about $72 dollars. I think it was $36 per oz and we had to get minimum of 2oz. I agree that if you have a big stomach, this place is not the place for you. Lol Service - the service was good but not the greatest. The wait time to get order and getting our food took a long time. When we got one plate, we waited over 20 minutes for the next plate to arrive. By then we finish our food. Lol I probably won't be coming back here again. The experience was nice to try for the first time. If the price was lower and the portion was a little bit bigger, I might come back again.

They need more options for vegetarians (who also don't eat seafood) besides tofu. I only had the shishito peppers & dessert, which was very good. My boyfriend got a steak dinner which looked really good!

Title: more fame than substance Pros: - nice decor... modern... fancy... sophisticated... un-Hawaiian - raw dishes are great - did you see that wine list??? Cons: - anything cooked is just... average - service is surprisingly poor - for this quality, it is outrageously expensive Ok, I've been here many times already. Luckily, I never had to pay for anyone of them. Would I pay if quality is better? Sure thing! But if you ask me if I would like to pay for a meal with such low value... no. To be fair, the sushi/sashimi I got was great. But, for the price they charge, they are supposed to be great. Then the cooked dishes... they are just underwhelming... especially at this price point. Service was just... I could have paid for a $40/person meal at another restaurant and get better service than that... and we are paying average 150/head here. Maybe the fame let them think that they can get away?
