I’ll start by saying I have not had the gold standard of Maine lobster rolls. But I grew up in the PNW eating fresh shell fish of all kinds.This buttered lobster roll was delicious. It had a heaping amount of juicy lobster. The bun was toasted and held up well against the amount of butter. Wasn’t soggy. This is hands down the best food we had on our trip in Waikiki and we went to a lot food spots during our stay.It was so good that we ordered dine-in and got two additional orders to go. The lobster was buttery and flavorful. The burgers were amazing. The staff were great and welcoming.Save your time and money at all the other spots and go to Fat Cheeks.

This place lives up to the hype. I got the lobster roll and my daughter got a hamburger with fries. Everything was delicious. The woman who took our order was very friendly and the owner was too. Easily one of the best meals I’ve had in the month I’ve been here. If you’re visiting, it’s worth it to make the effort to go to Fat Cheeks.
