Fat Cheeks Hawaii is a casual spot near Ala Moana. Guests order from one counter inside and pick up from another, finding a seat in the hallway or outdoors. The air conditioner can be too cold inside, but outside is perfect on a breezy Hawaiian day. The food is amazing and tastes so fresh. The 3.5 ounce lobster roll comes with an oh-so sweet roll, lobster meat, and butter. The bread tastes made fresh, crispy on the outside and soft inside. French fries are well cooked and crispy. The lobster smash burger and fried fish are phenomenal. The buttered lobster roll and lobster BLT are excellent, with very well cooked lobster and great portion sizes for the price. The fish and chips are hot, crispy, with the right amount of seasoning; the fish is flaking because it is so tender. The service is very friendly and the wait is not long. The atmosphere is okay, with small indoor and outdoor seating in a mall. Parking is kind of limited but there are a few 30-minute spots. This is possibly the best meal of the vacation.
