I had the pad Thai and it was 10/10. My server Bryan brought good vibes and made me feel welcomed there. The food came in like 5 minutes as well! What more can I ask for. All I have to say is go there and see what I mean.

Felt like having some Thai food today, so I stopped by Nio Thai—and let me tell you, the atmosphere was giving sophistication. The ambiance was smooth and laid-back, with slow jazz setting the tone and the decor on point.

I kicked things off with the Guava Season cocktail, and it came out fast. Flavorful and strong—definitely a bold way to start. Then came the spring rolls, which were hot, crispy, and just what I needed.

For dinner, I ordered the Tamarind Duck. It was beautifully plated, with the sauce on the side and a perfect rice pairing. First bite? Amazing. The sauce mixed with the rice was a match made in heaven—and surprise twist: lychee in the dish, which took it to a whole new level.

Then... things took a turn. Cutting into the duck felt like a UFC fight night at the table. I was wrestling with that thing like it owed me money. After finally managing a bite, chewing it was its own battle. By round two, I threw in the towel and waved over the waiter, who graciously took it back.

Redemption came in the form of the Curry Lamb. Gorgeous presentation with cilantro, purple onion, and even a little carrot flower. The flavors were deep, rich, and the lamb was fall-off-the-bone tender—everything I was hoping for.

All in all, a mixed round but ended strong. Would definitely return—just maybe dodge the duck next time.

The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the Pineapple Fried Rice—without question, the best I’ve had. Perfectly balanced in flavor, beautifully presented, and prepared with exceptional care, it speaks to the skill and consistency of the kitchen.

However, I have to mention a notable issue with the order: despite making my protein preference clear at both ordering and confirmation, the dish arrived with the incorrect protein. For a restaurant aiming for a high-end experience, this kind of oversight was disappointing and disrupted what was otherwise a flawless meal. While the staff was prompt and courteous in correcting the mistake, the initial error overshadowed the attention to detail that defined the rest of the evening. For a restaurant at this caliber, order accuracy is not just expected—it’s essential, especially when people have food allergies.

Noi Thai Cuisine succeeds in combining a luxe atmosphere with standout dishes, making it a strong choice for those seeking an upscale Thai dining experience. With greater attentiveness to order execution, it would easily be a five-star destination.

Perfect place for vegatrian restaurant in Honolulu as it limited. Great location and ambiance. Service was great and food is ready very quickly. Tried few different menu items all had unique taste. Highly recommended for vegatrians.

We had an amazing experience at this Thai restaurant! Everything we ordered was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The yellow curry was perfectly creamy with just the right amount of spice—comforting and rich without being too heavy. The spring rolls were nice and fresh, served with a peanut dipping sauce that added a great kick.

The pineapple fried rice was a standout—savory, sweet, and full of texture with juicy pineapple chunks, cashews, and just the right amount of seasoning. And the chicken cashew dish had that perfect balance of crunch and tender chicken in a flavorful sauce that left us wanting more.

Service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy but welcoming. Highly recommend this spot if you’re craving authentic, satisfying Thai cuisine. We'll definitely be coming back!
