It was okay, small portions, not many options, good for coffee and beignet less for being hungry on a budget. Music was too loud for my taste so early in the morning. Seats are a bit small for Texas sized guys, haha.
The food that we ordered was decent. There were some execution issues. The etouffee sauce broke, so it ended up rather greasy. The veges were rather coarsely and unevenly chopped. It was somewhat underseasoned. The gumbo wasn't bad, but wasn't great either. Again, rather bland compared to what you get in Louisiana. The rice was more like what you'd get with a local plate lunch than what you'd expect in Louisiana.

Dropped by NOLA on Saturday morning for a beignet flight. The service was quick and friendly, though they were out of vanilla and offered pumpkin instead. The beignets are made fresh to order, so there’s a bit of a wait, but it’s worth it. The space is big and clean, but the music was a bit loud for 7 AM—maybe not the best spot to relax with a coffee.
