I went to see the NPUSA Izumio Water booth. Left there totally educated and bought merchandise. Have never regretted it. Helped me in more ways then you know. Right across I bought $5 Bentos. So dam delicious and filling. She is open till she sells out which is fast. So go early. We stroll over to Yoas desserts...dont ever skip that. But plz plz walk past @sushi...so rude and rude and rude. Will never ever buy squat from them. Best haircutter / hair stylist / threader Ilean at the 1 and only salon in there. She is such a great person to have ur beauty needs met. Lots to see and explore... my go to place. Try and do a visit...u won't regret it.

Plentiful free parking and a very good selection of vendors overall! It is convenient that seating and entertainment are available for eating inside.

Who doesn't love an indoor "Kinda, sorta like a Swap Meet Store"...hey it's air conditioned...lots of assorted shops: clothing, jewelry, tons of eateries (Japanese,Mexican, Filipino, Vietnamese, Italian, Hawaiian, Poke Shops, Fruit Stands and more) lots of seating in different areas.and lots of one of a kind shops...this is a convenient location at 333 Ward Ave...(use to be the Sports Authority store...and for the ones who can still remember "The Gem Stores" back in the 70's n 80's ........ So as you stroll through this interesting Market place u will become hangry......no worry everything is fresh and almost made to order... So give it a try ...especially if u have guests from the mainland or abroad, they'll love it!....no need to drive from one location to the next...park the car and you'll be in for an interesting surprise! 4* Covid protocols: all employees masked/customers required to temperature self check, and wear masks/sanitizers available at front door 4* Store appearance: since this is a community of shops, each shop handles their shop individually, Shops for the most part are organized and clean 4* Customer service: I have personally visited 3 of the shops, the people their are very welcoming and friendly/ **Cons: Since each shop is owned separately, if purchasing items: always check on their return policy. Overall this is a nice alternative for shopping at the name box stores or brand shops. I would say Ohana Hale Marketplace is a great place to shop for that "Local Kine Products and Food" Shoutout to Management Mahalo OHM for staying open and offering lots of different food options n all your interesting shops. Appreciate all your hard working shop owners and employees during this Covid challenge. Stay safe....be well!

Goodbye outdoor swap-meets, hello indoor marketplace! It's so nice to browse a collection of smaller micro-businesses and vendors without all the heat and occasional rain of outdoor markets. (Okay, but I still love the Aloha Swap Meet and weekend farmer's markets so maybe it's a moot point haha). In any case, Ohana Hale is probably the only marketplace on the island that comes close to the feel of those indoor bazaars in Vegas and elsewhere. If you're new to the concept, think vendors in individual "stalls" as opposed to fully enclosed shops like the South Shore Marketplace. OHM seems to have just a bit of everything you would need: omiyage, apparel, souvenirs, jewelry, sweets, coffee, bentos, and food, food, food! What I like about the vendor offerings in general is that they seem to be more niche and more artisan rather than just allowing anyone who applies for a stall to sell random stuff. --It's bright and modern and doesn't feel seedy and full of people just looking to swindle you for extraordinarily cheap imports at exorbitant markups (no offense, Vegas bazaars, lol.) I highly recommend Snobby Cats for all your crazy cat lady needs and there's a bento stall near the very center with a sweet old ahjumma selling bentos for just $5! I had some ono Kimchee fried rice with dumplings and it's grab and go, which helps if you're in a hurry! Tanoa is a MUST for Polynesian prints and aloha style clothing that are NOT kitschy and overly floral like the touristy aloha wear of the olden days. I have SO many Tanoa dresses and I love that they're more traditionally printed because I honestly cannot stand the flower prints, palm trees and surfboards on other island apparels. Whoever manages the vendor selections at OHM does a great job at not having too much overlap in product offering. The selection feels "curated" to be the types of shops worth looking at and the only ones I would have visited in a larger bazaar anyway. In comparison to what 99 Ranch Market used to be like (waaay back in the day), OHM is far better. If anything, I want to come back just to try the other food options.

This place is great for anyone that wants to support multiple small local businesses. The vibe that I get from Ohana Hale Marketplace is similar to that of the swap meet, except OHM is indoors and has air conditioning. My boyfriend and I like to come here on the weekends to browse the different vendors. We are always so amazed by the creativity and entrepreneurship of all the vendors. From food and mini restaurants offering everything from sushi, grilled cheese sandwiches, Indian dosa, and açaí bowls to tiny clothing boutiques, phone accessory kiosks, and even a crack seed shop, this place is made for locals and visitors! A few favorite of ours include the smoothies from Honolulu Bistro, any of the sushi stands, Ocean Taste, and we always love stopping by Yoas to check out their tanks and aquariums. Parking is easy and plentiful and our favorite part about the whole place is the convenience and ever changing rotation of new businesses coming and going. If you're looking to support small and local businesses, this place is a must to check out!

Great market!! And if they don't have what you need the owner of the store tells you where you can go instead. Now that's customer service!

This is my 2nd time here. 1st time we came on a Friday night, most of the vendors here were closed. We walked around, ate a poke bowl from the only food vendor opened at that time. Today we decided to check it out "Saturday" OMG it's packed, well it is a weekend. Everyone was open for business and many people walking, eating and browsing - of course safely, wearing masks. Thirsty? You MUST TRY the Kale/papaya/ginger drink from Fancy Fresh food shop. Located on the corner of 1st street in Ohana market Place. I promise you will love it. I'm already thinking about coming back tomorrow. Just for this drink. They even have a salon in here. Touch of beauty. There's Tanoa clothing - hawaii bistro - Tacolisious - Jewelry shop- Toy collectibles - A BUNCH OF FOOD VENDORS. You will definitely find something to buy here...food or snack..glasses..perfume..pop fold out thank you -hello gift cards -ukulele- mu'u mu'u - haircut -wax. lol. It's all here under 1 roof.

Whoever thought of a market place like this? It was formerly sports authority. It's filled with food vendors (lots of them), t-shirts, aloha shirts, cell phone accessories, produce, artificial flowers, treats and more! Upon entering you need to take a temperature due to Covid. Then walk either way, up, down, left or right. Go find your way around the maze. Nana Ai Katsu: Excellent tonkatsu and other side dishes! Recommend doing a text, on-line or phone order. They do have a break and re-open for dinner. Suggest calling to check on their hours. KC waffle dog: Glad I'm able to grab me a waffle dog! My childhood favorite! Waffle and Berry: They make the best Açaí bowl! The açaí is the best I've tasted so far. Garibaldi: I heard their pizza is delish, but they are closed due to some equipment issues. Asian Flavors: These people have great food too, although I have not tried it yet. Tinys booth: Picked up Mochi-do that was so ono! They have a poke shop that I grabbed a Hawaiian poke bowl once that looked good. I purchased a few doggy treats from 808 bow wow today for my pooch too! They have lots of good eating places and booths to just go and browse around! Please go and support local business!

Small place. I was able to find Falange. I will use it to make pickled greens. It's a small place but people are nice there.

Too many flies in the cafe courtyard. I mentioned it to some vendors and they blew me off. They have some futile bug light very high in the wall which look like they'd only work at night. It's mid-afternoon and we were swarmed by huge flies landing on our food faster and with too many to swipe away :( the three stars I did give this location is for the three friends who have kiosks in the marketplace. The pictures are too gross to post. If I'm informed of any insect mitigation efforts that are working well come back. for now my other half and our Keiki are terrified of all the flies and insects.

I love ohana hale marketplace just as it is. Good food, awesome gifts, friendly to animals. Amazing all around. It's our go-to place to support small businesses & local families. Thanks OHM!!

Thank you, Kelly U for your long apology for that I'll raise it one star; I hope you were able to resolve the issues I experienced. When we entered last Sunday, from the Auahi St. side of the Marketplace we walked right on in without anyone taking our temperatures. I must admit that I thought about taking photos of the food vendors improperly wearing their face masks but decided that in this day and age it's just not safe -- people can be scary and unpredictable. I don't recall any of the stall's names because it was lunch time, we were hungry, and I didn't want to take the time to write any of the stall names down. I will say that pre-COVID I did eat at the Marketplace a couple of times. Last Sunday I was searching for a stall that I would want to come back to. Lastly, that sweet old dog who accompanies the food stall... I am a dog lover and owner but do not appreciate any animals in any food establishment.

Would love to support local but I can't in good conscious recommend this establishment after dealing with employees that do not understand what customer experience is. I entered Ohana Hale on Ward in the morning of 11/21 and an employee flagged me down to tell me that they are not open yet. Not a big deal so I headed toward the exist. As I was walking, she said the following out loud while she walked back to her desk, "omg, how many times do I have to tell you people. I had to yell out 10 times and get up". I was flabbergasted. Now this got me upset so I turned around and asked to see her manager as I don't think she thought I understood english. She mentioned her name is Judy and claimed to be the manager in charge of running the whole place. Proceeded to tell me how she has to tell people 20 times every morning and that she muttered the comments to herself so she doesn't understand why I would be upset. Suggestion, if you don't want people to enter early lock the doors and don't have an open sign lit outside. Most important, you don't have the right to take it out on me. If you're having a bad day, stay home. Honestly, a simple apology would have cooled me off because customer service is not berating me and telling me I shouldn't be upset since she made comments "just to herself". Customer service is not having your employee video us on her phone to threaten to post online. Bullying customers like that is not cool and we should never be treated this way. Honestly, the vendors are probably solid and we should do everything to support them during these difficult times. As I exited, a gentleman working the coffee shop was gracious enough to show compassion and offer complimentary coffee after seeing how I was treated. Thank you as that was a sign of true Aloha. One day I may very well go back and give the Marketplace another chance due to the nice gentleman selling coffee, but right now just not worth the risk for anyone having to deal with being treated unruly by the staff at Ohana Hale Marketplace.

This is an indoor market filled with local grocery/eateries, beauty operation, clothing/accessories and many more shops! There are so many unique and delicious places to visit here. The vendors at OHM is all about customer service-- friendly and helpful. At the front entrance there is a check in area (questions/directions). Bathroom - used for customer only (code required). You may enter/ exit from front entrance or back entrance near Hawaii Finest Clothing. Before the pandemic sometimes on stage there will be local artist who come to sing or play there instrument and Zumba! During the holidays they have an Angel tree and Santa Claus. If you don't know what an Angel tree is... it is where an angel tree tag (the Salvation Army) placed on a Christmas. On the tag it will have either a child or an adults name requesting something they wish to have. This is such a great thing giving back to our community.
