The clams were one of the most flavorful broths and interesting use of ingredients. The uni / oyster shooters were fresh and the hamachi carpaccio was done with a tangy yuzu that helped balance the fish.

All the dishes are delicious, but there is a big difference in cost performance. It's a good combination of Japanese and Hawaiian cooking, so I think Westerners will also appreciate it.It is no longer BYOB (Bring Your Own Bottle), so if you bring your own bottle, you will have to pay a corkage fee.

Fantastic dinner. We ordered the oysters to start (1/2 chef choice and 1/2 oysters of the day). The Yuzu sauce was so good on the fresh oysters (from Washington State). Then had the hamachi carpaccio was so yummy! Next was a warm sake butter assorted seafood soup, lastly a bara chirashi bowl with super fresh fish. Very small place. We will be back!!!

Tasty dinner! The oysters were fresh, buttery, and smooth. I loved the sauces you can add with it because they enhance the flavor. They served thick pieces of ahi tuna sashimi and they were so good. The hale roll was okay but I wouldn't order it again. Service was quick and the restaurant was nicely decorated.

This place was surprisingly good. I usually eat closer to Central Waikiki, but being a little bit off track, I was hesitant at first. Based on the reviews, I took a chance, and I'm glad I did. The service was outstanding, and the food was great. The prices were reasonable as well. I sat out on the terrace and enjoyed my evening very much.

The food was great and reasonably priced! The attentiveness of the staff made the experience much more enjoyable. It's a smaller space but it actually makes the ambiance feel cozy. Would definitely recommend checking it out

Great date night to go out and try something new. Location is a little hard to find parking but overall the dining experience was great. The food was also amazing. That more than one pound ribeye was fantastic with the Hawaiian sauce. Appetizers was also really good. Loved the dessert as well. I recommend getting the fried kulolo with ube ice cream and macadamia sprinkles. Super good. Overall, you should come here and give it a try.

We heard this place was good and it did not dissipoint. The service was exceptional even though it was very busy. The fish was soooo fresh and delicious. We had Kirin on draft and bottles of Saki. The vibe was chill and lots of laughter. I recommend that you try this place for date night or dinner for two. You will leave satisfied and happy!

By far the best restaurant we had in Honolulu! The prices were great and the food was delicious! Recommend coming here for the sushi and Oysters! Also the cheesecake looked delicious but we were stuffed from the rest of our food! It's a small restaurant so make sure to make reservation beforehand or you can always sit at the bar area! The chu-hi lychee was so good (I got 3) lol! Staff were kind and we got our food quickly.
