This place is just awesome they will satisfy all your cravings in one stop. From noodles to sandwiches they’ve got it all. The service and care they take with the customers is outstanding too. We got service to our door from them directly and they were the sweetest people ever. No delivery fee! Food is great.
Vegetarian options: I am not a vegetarian but they had a lot of options and they definitely had the option for substitutes
Kid-friendliness: The menu is very versatile and has things for both adults and kids. Kids can definitely find things on this menu
I tried this place for the first time because my friend gave me a $50 Aloha Friday deal certificate. When I went to pick up the food, the owner told me my total was $54. When I gave her the certificate she told me my total was now $64. I asked her why and she said there's a $10 surcharge for using coupons. I was so annoyed that I just paid my $14 since I didn't want the certificate to go to waste. She wasn't even nice about it. I later found on-line reviews about other customers being overcharged. I refuse to support a business that is so shady. As for the food, I bought 3 items - house noodles, salt & pepper squid and beef with sweet sour cabbage. Portions were small for the price, and the food was barely seasoned. We had to add shoyu to everything.
Awesome food , Cozy atmosphere , friendly staff. Great place for huge family gatherings or a dinner party for two in romance. Fully stocked bar serving all types of liquor. Steamed dim sum specials. And yummy Desert’s. #1 Fried Rice this side of Honolulu. Master Chef from Hong Kong with +45 yrs of cooking experience in Honolulu,L.A.,Japan,Beijing,& abroad.
Ordered through Doordash as our family had gotten in late, and the quality of food that we got for what we spent was way below average. The "large size" was not large (I can only imagine what the "normal" size looks like, the hot and sour soup tasted like watered down egg drop soup with oil, and the egg rolls were a joke. The Mongolian beef was so spicy none of my family could really eat it, the beef and broccoli was mostly broccoli. The only the that was somewhat decent were the crab ragoons. We will not be ordering from here again.
I went for the soup dumplings. I would give them 3.5 stars. Give this place a try. Nice atmosphere. Tables set up for family style.
A great Chinese spot! We had wanton soup, steamed buns, shrimp with lobster sauce and spicy Mongolian beef! No wait and very reasonable prices. Roughly $70 total for all that! The owner was also very friendly!
Great place, food, and service! Reminds me of the best Chinese dishes in Austin, only they’re available in the same restaurant. Peking duck is worth the try. Hope to come back in a future trip
The service and food was excellent. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the dog barking and walking around the dining room. Would recommend for take out.
Don't understand why this place was so empty for a 1:30 lunch. Really good dim sum, especially the soup dumplings at two steamer-fulls for the price of one. Also had egg foo yong but had to work to get the chef to understand we wanted pork in it - finally said char siu and then we had it. Lovely people in a nice place. Even had a full bar and the resident dog for added character. Don't miss this place.
I can’t speak to their regular menu, but here’s what happened when we ordered off of their vegan menu, which they created for the Vegetarian Society. If you are planning to order off that menu, please read this first! We called in late Tuesday evening for pickup on Thursday, because they didn’t answer their phones all evening. When my husband arrived, it was a fiasco. The woman running the front did not have a record of my order, although my husband recognized her voice as the one who took our order. She said she could get it ready fast, so just reorder. So he did. And then he waited an hour while he witnessed many other orders going out, and a hired helper who seemed lost and not of sound mind, who had to be told to answer the phone and had extreme difficulty taking orders. We ordered $65 worth of dim sum, and the entire order tasted like oil. The worst was a tie between the “siu mai” which was actually bits of crumbled and oily tofu bits with some mushrooms in an oily wrapper, no seasoning, just oil, and some salt, and the seaweed rolls, which were sopped in oil and the noodles inside were uncooked in parts and again, all I could taste was oil with a little salt. I could go on, but I’ll attach a few pictures instead.Needless to say, I don’t think they have ANY experience in vegetarian cooking, nor did they have a remotely Chinese flavor. Not planning to return.

The one star is generous. Okay, responded to Vegetarian Society of Hawaii's ad saying " Salt and Pepper", this restaurants new name, is offering vegan menu starting today. I had a restaurant before in Chinatown, I get it. We made the papers, and we were not ready for big traffic increase. I think S and P's challenge goes a bit deeper, however, I wish them good luck and Aloha.
Hmm best soup dumplings (xiaolongbao) we’ve found on island! We also got Peking duck, panfried green beans, egg rolls, fried rice, and sweet and sour soup that were all well- seasoned, super tasty, and not too oily. At first glance we underestimated this place but it’s definitely a hidden gem! We will definitely come back again! The hostess was also super friendly.
Absolutely horrible. There was a dog begging us for food the entire time. The soy sauce was so expired it came out like molasses. I ordered a cup of soup and the server brought an entire bowl and charged me $15 for it. The dumplings tasted and felt like they came out of a freezer box. One of the cooks took a nap right behind our table. Very expensive for terrible service. The waiter had no clue what was on the menu.
The Peking Duck was simply wonderful. And the service by Lisa was impeccable and she made us feel right at home.We never experienced the buns before but they melt right in your mouth.Come here you are guaranteed to leave with a contented stomach amd smile on your face
Best Peking duck I have ever had on Oahu. The staff make you feel like family. I also recommend the pot stickers and salt and pepper tofu.
