This was my first time coming to this Vietnamese restaurant and the food was great. We had the Combination Pho, Lemon Grass Chicken, and Specialty Sandwich which were all good. We also ordered a side of spring rolls which were good but had only come with two green lettuce leaves which I found a little odd. Otherwise all the food was on point. I'll be coming back for sure to get my Vietnamese food fixThe restaurant was quite busy when we got there and the people kept coming so I'd imagine that it would be best to come earlier if you have a bigger group. Otherwise the tables do clear out quite quickly. As far as cost, this place is reasonably priced but it is in Chinatown so the parking is always a challenge. They also automatically charge gratuity for groups more than 6 people. Just keep that in mind if you come here with 6+ people.

Normally very efficient and helpful. I get take out often but on 2/22 they were so rude. I went to put a take out order and there were two women. One the cashier as soon as I said take out walked away and didn’t return. The other woman walked to the cashier and never looked or responded to me. But a native speaker man from behind me demanded to put an order in and she took his order. The restaurant was empty. Again I’ve been coming here for years and never treated this way. Maybe they had a bad day but very disappointing so much so I’m writhing this review.

I ordered their food many times until I found a small dead roach in my shredded pork rolls last night via Uber Eat.

Rude, poor customer service, food is really not good. Will not come back. It used to be very good. I used to come back every time I visited Honolulu.Waiter didn’t listen to us ordering. Drink didn’t come with food. I had to ask for it.Ordered another drink then didn’t give it to us, then they said it was missing some ingredients so I decided to declined to order. Canh chu was tasteless, not sour not sweet nor salty… Shrimps were ok, nothing extraordinary. The only good thing was the dessert drink but there were more ice than ingredients.Didn’t feel welcome nor appreciated. As customer, I made the effort to be nice but they didn’t.

Looking for Pho, this restaurant was recommended to me. But when I saw congee on the menu, I knew what I wanted. Sad that pork was not an option, but the beef was good. Also has sugarcane drink with lilikoi. Very refreshing.

Pho Que Huong is truly a hidden gem that goes beyond the ordinary, delivering an authentic Vietnamese dining experience that captivates the taste buds. Allow me to delve into the culinary wonders that await you. Firstly, the Bun Bo Hue, a spicy beef noodle soup, presents a symphony of flavors. The broth is a work of art, combining lemongrass, shrimp paste, and chili to create a robust and aromatic base. It's a departure from the familiar pho, showcasing the diversity of Vietnamese soups. Now, let's talk about the Bo La Lot. This dish features perfectly grilled beef enveloped in wild betel leaves, offering a tantalizing blend of smokiness and herbal notes. The play of textures and flavors in each bite is a testament to the chef's expertise. Craving something crispy? Look no further than the Ca Chien Gion, their crispy fried fish. The fish is impeccably cooked, achieving a delightful crunch on the outside while maintaining its freshness within. It's a textural delight that adds a different dimension to your Vietnamese culinary journey. Last but not least, indulge in the Ca Ri De, a lamb curry that showcases the rich and aromatic side of Vietnamese spices. The curry is a harmonious blend of flavors, with tender lamb pieces bathing in a luscious sauce that invites you to savor every mouthful. At Pho Que Huong, each dish is a meticulously crafted masterpiece, transcending the ordinary and inviting you to explore the depth and breadth of Vietnamese cuisine. Without a doubt, this culinary haven deserves a resounding five stars for its commitment to authenticity and the sheer pleasure it brings to discerning palates.

Variety selection the taste is true to home. All the food came out fast and fresh, the price was pretty affordable, competitive to the market around Hawaii. Highly recommended, it truly taste like "que huong" without the hefty price tax.

Update, ordered a shaking beef rice plate and it is almost inedible all but 2 pieces of beef were so gristly and fatty (not in a good way) and the beef used was clearly chuck and super tough. And the veggies are just bell peppers and onions in huge chunks (more than the meat). Instead of the normal pickled carrots/daikon, this came with a simple handful of romaine lettuce and two tomato slices. Sauce was just a basic hoisin, and for $25....sorry no bueno. I keep the 2 stars as the bang mi remains good and I have had good grilled pork rice plates.

My absolute favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Honolulu. Great food, service, prices, and atmosphere. I take all of my out of town friends there and they all love it.

Pho was good, the $28 combo wrap meal set lacked flavor to me and so did the fish sauce chicken wings. It's probably cause I'm from California and we have alot of Vietnamese restaurant here. But I will go back for pho if/when I need a meal to hit the spot. And its a plus that it's in Chinatown so I can walk around and pick up some fresh fruits we don't have here.

So yummy! Always go there a few times a month. I always switch between pho, their vermecelli bowl or rice plates all delicious!

Overall it was not bad. Good quality pho (medium is $14), noodles are very bouncy and cooked well. But I generally put more weight into how the broth is for pho, and theirs was pretty bland which was a disappointment. But again, overall a solid bowl of pho. Veggies on the side were fresh and generous. Their tofu summer roll was huge and great, giant pieces of tofu ($10 for the dish). Their clay pot tofu comes in a sizzling bowl and a side of rice and veggies, big portion. Service was great and food came out quickly. Refilled our waters often. Ambiance is very homey, right in the heart of Chinatown so parking isn't great, but we went on a Tuesday night and were seated immediately. It's a rather huge restaurant! Only thing I didn't like was they make different parties share tables, like the tables aren't spaced apart, we were just one long table. So I overheard a lot of our neighbor's conversation. All in all, probably won't come back since I didn't like the broth and location is inconvenient, but I can see why others would like it.
