Pizza Hut in Honolulu

“I got to Stevenson Middle school and walk to this place every day. Today, they drew a smiley face on my pizza! I love how they make this establishment so welcome!

Kid-friendliness: I'm twelve years old and they always welcome me when I come in. A smile shows on my face everytime I think about their small businesses. Recommend for small children!“

“Pizza hut has always been one of my favorite places whenever I don't feel like cooking or just a quiet bite because I love their personal pan pizza. It is just the right size for 1 person and you cannot beat the price for 4 awesome pieces of a pan made personal size pizza. I think Anyone born between the 60s 70s & 80s bought Pizza Hut because there weren't many other options except for a few small pizza places that many different last verl long bcuz they really couldn't complete with Pizza Huts prices and most didn't deliver like pizza hut did. I also believe Pizza Hut is the forefront for the other Pizza companies to start up in Hawaii almost copying how Pizza Hut ran their business. I can't say 100 percent that it is the case but I believe it is true in my opinion. There is only one company that has been hanging in there but still cannot compete against the taste Pizza Hut puts out. I have only one question, why did Pizza Hut shut down most of the many dine in restaurants around Oahu? I used to love their salad bar lunches or brunches all you can eat salad bars. I know many sports teams would go during this special and the all you can eat brunch salad bar specials and just devour everything in sight. This salad bar had so many different entrees on that bar ß⁴⁴⁴⁴⅘ there were nothing left for the other customers which to me they knew what they were doing when choosing to do this at that specific time and specials . To me when the team ups and others abused this special on a regular basis it ruined it for everyone to enjoy and it wasn't only Pizza Hut that ran into this problem. But whoever I'm the company put into action maybe they should have added rules to that specific problem and should have foreseen that sooner than later someone or high schools & college athletic sports teams and their coaches "Only as an example" would abuse this awesome new way of family dining at a reasonable price to go with it that they also should have considered“

“I recently attended kona ironman on the big island. I then flew back to honolulu and stayed close to the airport for an early departure. I got a cab into the closest supermarket which had the pizza hut nearby.l ordered a taxi to return to my hotel which after an hour and a half finally arrived. I was very stressed out and scared as it was getting on dusk,l was so tired and ready to lose my shit after being approached by someone asking for a few dollars. I got asked by a few delivery drivers who noticed I'd been waiting for a long if I was okay, and if l needed help. I would like to say a huge thankyou to all that offered help, you guys were amazing and helped an old girl flying back to Australia the next morning feel much better, so thankyou a few kind words got me through xxx“

“Great tasting pizza and breadsticks. Entire shift on duty were pleasant and professional. Service was quick and friendly. Ingredients were the perfect amount. Not all pizza places are generous with their toppings. This store as well as your Waialae location have always provided excellent products and services.“

“This location seems old-fashioned and a little dimmed inside.I came for the buffet. $15 a person. Only available from 11am-2pm. Soda included unlimited. Salad is one time only.Pizzas come in different variation. They rotated with a new topping every time a pizza is gone.The meaty tomato sauce is really delicious. It goes well with the pizza as a dipping sauce.Sweet cinnamon bread sticks are so good especially when it's still warm and a little crispy on the outside.You cannot find a better deal than this elsewhere.“

“Had an issue with our order. I called back and they fixed it and made everything right. Appreciate that kind of experience when a mistake is made. I wish I remember the names of the customer service reps! Very happy overall with how they resolved the issue and the pizza was spot on“

“I don't know what Pizza Hut did, but their pizzas used to be hit and miss. Now they are amazing! We have ordered many times within the last 4 months and the pizzas are really good! Light crispy crust and very tasty. My go to for pizza!“

“It was a night like no other.... I lit some candles, ran some warm bath water and turned the lights on low. Slowly I walked towards the lightly lit hallway and felt a cool gentle breeze on my face. The breeze was warm and welcoming..... it felt like I was home again...... what you just read was a description of how pizza hut makes you feel. Overall, would recommend.“

“This place has been remodeled and it’s really nice! I’m not too sure about what is in or what goes on in the back area. But each time I walk in, the place is always neat! From what I can see, there are never any dishes laying all over. Countertops are cleaned and employees are always happy or excited when customers come in. So it seems like these guys here REALLY appreciated their work and values their talents very much so.

I’m glad to say other than the many times I’ve came here, lately… they have been really good in making our pizzas. On 2 different occasions with 2 managers, our food has been really delicious & managers were really good to customers and employees. Once, a manager looked over the order and saw that one of the pizzas weren’t up to standard and he asked the cooks to redo another one and not to burn the edges. We were ok with the pizza, but he insisted that it’s not their standards. I was thankful because if I did go home and my pizza was burnt, I’d be disappointed and wouldn’t order for a while. The other manager, I asked if tips are split with all employees. He said YES! At the end of the night, he splits all the tips up and divides it amongst each of them. I was happy to hear that because if he didn’t answer it with such confidence, I’d second guess that he tips the employees out. But, he answered in a confident way and so I threw a few more dollars down to cover the 4 employees to go home with at least couple dollars on my end. I’m sure their total was more, but these workers deserves tips for their hard work. Especially because they keep their standards here!“
