Of course, we are heavily biased ....as former local residents....however, as a keen observer of other patrons, I observed visitors thoroughly enjoying their food....from the menu or at the breakfast buffet. Their plates were piled high with food....my disappointment was seeing wasted, leftovers on their plates!!!In Hawai’i, service is TOP PRIORITY...inkeeping with the traditional Aloha Spirit. From the front reception desk to the wait staff, the busboys....all were very helpful, accomodating, seeing to your every need.They all deserve our 5 star rating...they may not be fancy, however, they serve their patrons very well...with good food, amazing services always with a smile!Mahalo....The Plantation Cafe staff....we have returned many times & will continue to do so in the future.Transplants to Carlsbad, California .....

Expensive and poor quality breakfast buffet. Adequate choice, but nothing was prepared well and hot foods weren't hot. If you go, make sure you get whatever discount you are entitled to.

Part of the Ala Moana Hotel, this large restaurant only serves breakfast buffet. There is something to satisfy everyone's breakfast tastes. The food is plentiful, fresh and hot or cold depending what you're eating. Make your own pancakes have a huge number of toppings to choose from. The coffee is neverending, and the staff are hardworking and very friendly. It does get very busy, so you need to be prepared to wait to get a table at times.

Good variety of fresh Hawaiian fruits. Sweet pastries. Lots of different hot entrees. Used vouchers from Southwest Airlines but the actual price is typical for Honolulu. Lovely service. Just outside the Ala Moana Hotel.

Servers and greeters were pleasant and accommodating. Food served did not accomodate for people who don't eat pork, majority of dishes had ham, spam, bacon in it. Desert that I enjoyed was lemon meringue pie, others in my group enjoyed the pecan and pumpkin

Breakfast came with our accomodation so we frequented this place for our holiday. reasonable range of options and food nice. Service was good. Not sure I would pay the $$$ they charged for a walk in given better options in the area but was nice and convenient and enjoyed.

Great place for breakfast! I had breakfast/brunch here for a week last February. It’s located ground floor of Ala Moana Hotel. The server at restaurant was so attentive, keeping coffee cup warmed. Large selection of food. Wonderful location....walk right out of second floor of hotel into Ala Moana Mall, fab shopping and great dining.
