After our elopement in Hawaii, we reserved a lunch at The Plumeria Beach House to celebrate, noting the occasion in our OpenTable reservation. While the message didn’t seem to make it through, the moment the staff overheard us talking about our wedding, everything changed—they came by one by one to offer congratulations and even surprised us with a sweet little cake to celebrate. It was such a kind, genuine gesture that made our day feel even more special.

We both ordered seafood dishes and they were incredible—so fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The service was quick, friendly, and attentive without being overwhelming. And the setting? Absolutely stunning. Open-air dining with ocean views right from our table, with the beach just steps away. We took a walk down to the water while waiting for our drinks, and it felt like something out of a dream.

This place is more than just a restaurant—it’s an experience. We’ll remember that lunch forever.

I will be having all of my birthdays here from now on! The buffet spread, staff and atmosphere was absolutely fantastic.

Great location and the view of the beach. Service on the other hand was not acceptable. Asked for a table and there were plenty available but still made us wait for whatever personal reasons. Hostess was chatting with other workers and ignoring us. After I complained with no rush and a little more time they came to get us. Servers also gave a look when asked to put toppings on the side for a dish. Not very professional or caring.

Extremely nice hotel restaurant environment. They called it a seafood buffet, but we expected more seafood than sushi, sashimi, and crab legs but it was disappointing since we were expecting more. The crab legs were not as fresh as expected. At least they had a salad with some fish in it (not quite a poke dish). The salad was fresh, and the other dishes were okay. For me the highlight was the prime rib (and the carver must be the hardest worker at the buffet, he was alone at the station! However, he was very quick and friendly and the wait was short even with the long line.) The wait staff was excellent and attentive. Although google said this was a casual buffet, we were surrounded by people who were dressed for dinner. Dessert was excellent and we made several trips back for pudding. Overall, a very nice location to have a meal.

Parking: Can park for free at the public beach parking.

This place is all about the location if you want to eat overlooking the ocean, with well manicured greenery around. The views, breeze and the experience are all spectacular. You'll leave this place smiling and unfortunately for us it wasn't the food that did it. The food is super average for vegetarians. The grain bowl I had was just palatable. The burger was the same. For this location, I wish they gave a bit more attention to their food. The service and the staff were super friendly and attentive.

Nice and breezy for outdoor dining with attentive service by Shu Shu. A great venue for romantic dining or have a meal with your loved ones celebrating special occasion.

The food spread could do more improvements. It is alittle disappointing for international well-travelled guests. For this price, we could get a customised grilling of meats, seafoods, satays, christmas themed desserts such as praline chocolate logcakes, pies, ice cream, pastries, panettone, egg nog, tiramisu, black forest cakes, christmas cookies, yule log cakes, ginger bread house and etc.

The snow crab legs do not tastes fresh at all, soaked heavily in salt water. There could be more varieties of poke.

Take a cue from japan, korea top buffet restaurants you will understand how spoilt your international travellers are.

we had buffet lunch on Sunday. eggplant lasagna was the worst- how do you wreck lasagna? make it sweet, very little tomato sauce, cream, zero flavor... the sushi was okay, very little was left by 12 noon and the salad buffet had a few meager items that had been thoroughly picked over. the best part was the ice tea, sheesh. People, if you offer a buffet until 2pm, please replenish your offerings, it's so gross to pick through 4 pieces of lettuce, no toppings on anything, and 6 pieces of sushi no one else wanted.

food, ambience, atmosphere Excellent. Staff prompt and efficient while relaxed and laid back. The only drawback is the open-air with no air conditioning. We dined at night and I was perspiring. Having air conditioning would've been way more pleasant.

My wife and I went to the 2024 Thanksgiving buffet with about 20 years since the previous visit.

We requested indoors in the reservation that was made 3 months prior, but they only had outdoors. Ok no big deal but it did start getting uncomfortably warm and humid after awhile.

The buffet area it turned out was in a big ballroom accessed by going back through the restaurant lobby about 150ft. away from our table so people entering, leaving, restaurant staff and those with plates of food all converged in a lobby bottleneck and we had to navigate around each other. No collisions witnessed but close calls.

20 years ago it was really a Thanksgiving buffet with a turkey carving station and food was really delicious and atmosphere was relaxing. This time there were so many varieties of different food but the ā€œThanksgivingā€ food was relegated to a couple of steam pans. The turkey was dry and the dressing was way too salty and tasted like a dry version of stove top stuffing. The gravy seemed like it was out of a can, not homemade.

All in all it was fair but a big let down from what it was before and can’t see going back, especially at $150 per person. Had a very disorganized and chaotic feel to it for what is supposed to be a 5-star hotel.

Every visit to the island, whether we stay at the resort or not, we end up here for brunch. Beautiful view, good selection of food and great atmosphere.

Eating breakfast here was very beautiful near the beach. Service was good from our server named Justin, we talked story and made us feel welcomed. Buffet food was pretty good but not worth the high price. If they lowered the price a bit I would come back again. All in all it's a try once kinda place for me.
