Incredible coffee shop using delicious Pono Potions Oahu-made syrups! We got the Meli Matcha (water-based matcha drink with honey ginger syrup and lemon), the Pauahi (latte with caramelized Mac nut syrup topped with toasted mac nuts), and the ‘Ulu Spice (current special - like a pumpkin spice latte but breadfruit spice). The matcha was one of my favorite drinks of all time - so unique and perfectly balanced!
Didn’t try their baked goods but they looked great and were all vegan + gluten free. Spent the morning exploring Chinatown and was so glad to find this comfortable spot to sit indoors and outdoors. They were hosting a wreath workshop and had fun holiday vendors today, too. Kudos to Peter, Michael, and the rest of the team for the beautiful coffee shop, community space, stellar drinks made from your syrups, and vibe!

We were there for the vegan + gluten free baked goods from ‘Ulu & Kalo bakery so we didn’t try any of the drinks. We did wonder around. It’s a cool place and it is the “flagship” store for Pono Potions. Which I hadn’t tried but will in the future for use in creating mocktails. We stop and shop in Chinatown whenever we come to Honolulu and this will definitely be added to our list of places to revisit!

Pleasantly busy and quiet on a Sunday afternoon. If you're in Chinatown and are looking for a decent cup of coffee in a great atmosphere, this is the place. There are better cups of coffee in Honolulu.

What to say about one of my favorite coffee shops in town? They have amazing beverage creations and friendly staff. Everything on the menu is delicious, so there's no way you won't get a better day after a stop there.
Great coffee and matcha! Great atmosphere for hangouts and study! Staff are super friendly! Best matcha I ve had- not only matcha latte, they also have brewed matcha. Overall great experience.

This place is very cozy, it’s similar to like exploring a bit of Hawaiian history while you enjoy a nice unique coffee or mock-tails. The difference between this coffee shop is that the menu is very localized using Hawaiian flavors and exotics to bring the taste of a nice drink to a whole new level.
