Took a dear friend to celebrate her birthday and it was a wonderful experience. The service, food, and ambiance were impeccable. Maybe a little pricey, but worth it!

What a waste of a morning in Hawaii. The staff is positively severe and that sets the tone of your morning. Not one smile, not one piece of warmth. Our server is was borderline hostile. Eye contact and refills avoided. Our Christmas breakfast meals were mediocre. The spinach was quite bitter. Bloody Mary was really great. A total skip for me.

My friends and I recently came here for drinks on a Saturday night and surprisingly it wasn't busy at all. Not complaining though because it was really chill and we had the couch area to ourselves. The drinks are pricey, but they're also pretty strong so it's worth it. I had the secret swiftie and it was refreshing. Our server was also patient and attentive throughout the night. We came straight from dinner so we didn't order any food, but I'd love to come back to try their menu :)

First time trying this place in Chinatown and it was phenomenal. I recommend making a reservation in advance as there is limited seating. Our server was very accommodating and allowed us to choose between two seating areas. The restaurant itself is beautiful and very laidback. I ordered the venison tartare, porchetta and the lasagna. This was my first time trying venison tartare, and it wasn't gory at all! In fact, it was very well balanced with sweet and savory notes. I also ordered the Mr. Kipling cocktail, the club tropicana specialty cocktail and the menabrea lager. All drinks were amazing! As far as parking, it was not hard to find. There are multiple paid parking structures close to the restaurant, as well as street parking (if you're lucky!)

Great tasting food and super cool innovative drinks! I really enjoyed the ambiance here as well and the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely a great place to enjoy good company and good drinks. I wish there was more dedicated parking but after hours the parking is free on the street and at the post office.

The coffee was a spectacular letdown. It had that awful sour quality of over-roasted beans and I really did not enjoy it. This perhaps handicapped the Podmore's chances at wowing me, cuz brunch coffee is foundational! The Bloody Mary was nice enough, a fresh tasting mix with more-than-basic garnish: pickled cauliflower, grape tomato, and wittle bitty dill pickle. The food was, as everyone else will tell you, a real treat to observe. It's handcrafted so artfully, with meticulous design, and it's tasty too. Unfortunately, as a consequence of the exacting presentation, it takes a very long time to arrive. Some dishes are also disappointingly scanty (like that smoked pancake), and they're all pretty spendy. Our server was pleasant and relaxing, but not briskly attentive as you might expect from sophisticated dining. In general, the downtown dining lacked substance, and though this place has a creative lead, it falls in line with the expected so-so baseline. I consider it only average in general, but I'm kicking it up to a fourth star for creativity.

Brunch dates are essential in life and Podmore is a place where you can kind of feel fancy with cool vibes. It is smaller than most brunch places so if you have a party of 6, they'll have to push two tables together. Parking is relatively easy since you can park at the post office and walk over. My favorite dishes would have to be the Christmas Breakfast and the Kale Lasagna. Don't let the Christmas Breakfast picture fool you because it was a lot bigger than we expected! Not me thinking I needed at least two portions of it until it came out and ate my words. Absolutely loved every bite (who doesn't love hash browns) For the Kale Lasagna, the whole portion was crispy! That's something I never expected but should be a requirement for all lasagnas because we love a crispy crunch. The least favorite of the morning was the Carbonara -- not much flavor, definitely not what we're used to so we personally would pass on that As much as we enjoyed the food and drinks, our server was a different story... she seemed a bit condescending when we asked her a simple question about the Carbonara and we somehow got a whole lecture of how it's impossible to not include eggs in the dish... We could of done without the sassiness and it made us wish we didn't have her as our server but Emily (the bartender) brightened up our day with her sweet personality and made us birthday drinks. Someone give her a raise for her amazing customer service attitude!

Great food, vibe & service. Will definitely be back! Got the Christmas breakfast and it was amazingggg!! It had the perfect crunch/texture against the smooth and buttery egg/ hollandaise. Yum!!! WAY BETTER than an eggs benedict!!

Ambiance was amazing. Food tasted great, soufflé was a good mixture of smokey & sweet. Harvest has was well balanced. Drinks tasted great. Service was a bit slow but we're very nice and friendly.

Overpriced. Spend $38 and you will only get a small bowl of pasta. Very simple pasta with no topping. The berry pancake was super oilly and it is $28 for a cupcake size cake. The cocktail was actually made by your waitress. Funny right? Because they dont have bar tender during day time even they serve full cocktail menu during lunch hour.

I went right at the opening time, 9am, just in time for brunch. My friends and I ended up staying there for three hours! The food is fresh, flavorful, and filling. The ambience is calm and clean. The staff were very friendly and are also customers so they know that everything tastes great, and it did! I definitely want to try their evening fair.

Although the service is a little slow, it is still excellent overall. The food was both delicious and beautiful. I felt like a princess while I was there

Stopped by this British-influenced bar and restaurant upon a recommendation on my last night in Honolulu. The service was a bit cold but the drinks definitely delivered. The cheeseboard-inspired blue cheese washed cocktail was unlike anything I’ve had with a deep savouriness balanced by the pleasant tart-sweetness of pickled grapes. It’s a showstopper. I also loved the alcoholic tepache, which is pleasantly fermented and not too sweet. Didn’t try any food but it sounded good too.

1. Ambience Is great! It's a very elegantly renovated space in downtown Honolulu. Very attractively done - very inviting. 2. Sadly things have gone downhill since it's opening. the service is very friendly, very nice. But they absolutely do not have it together in their timing of serving the food. I was in a party of four today for brunch. The very superb cocktails were delivered swiftly 3. Things went downhill from there. I had checked the menu before going and had decided on three items that looked inviting. None of the three items were available. The item that I did choose, had some of the individual items on the plate not available. It took 70 minutes from the time we ordered until any of the meals were delivered. They were delivered one at a time with up to five minutes between each plate. Which made for a rather awkward dining situation. We were the last people in the restaurant, although we were not the last people to have arrived. The meal that I chose, the full English breakfast, with the exception of the two eggs and toast, appeared to have been prepared earlier that day. Although the plate had probably been assembled after my ordering it, by the time it arrived all was lukewarm. The staff was very profusely apologetic when told how disappointed we were - they delivered a complimentary cocktail at the end of the meal, which was not something that I wanted, but a very nice gesture. If this was a one off thing I would say, well, it was Easter Sunday and maybe they were quite busy. But not all the tables were full, so that was not the case. An earlier dinner that I had had there several weeks ago was also disappointing. We ordered their Wagyu steak, which is their specialty. We had ordered medium rare and when it arrived, there was nothing pink on the plate. Very disappointing. At the prices that they charge, I am very sad to say that I will not go back. My breakfast today was over $80 for a delicious old-fashioned cocktail and mediocre eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes and toast. I think I could've had a more satisfying breakfast at Zippy's and it probably would have been served warm. This is truly disappointment as I've always really enjoyed going to this lovely bar and restaurant, and in the past felt that both their cocktails and food were superb. I think it's time for Management to look at the whole operation and ask what's happening? Time to make some changes!

Beautiful interior but not the best food. My friend and I made a reservation for brunch but we were a little past 15 min late for it because we couldn't find parking and we had tried calling to let them know but no one answered. We ended up parking at the Alii Place building which was such a good deal - $0.75 for each half hour for the first 2 hrs. Other parking structures were like $4 per 30 min so yeah, no brainer! When we got there the front desk girl acted annoyed but ended up seating us anyways because another group that just arrived said they did not have as many in their reservation as originally planned. We tried the rock cakes which tasted purely like dessert, so I would have liked them last. I guess they have different flavors all the time and the flavor we had was white chocolate with chocolate chips or something. We shared the full English breakfast plate which took soooooo long to come out omg. It ended up being good but lots of weird meat things I didn't like, and in the end I felt I could have just made something better at home. The smoked soufflé pancakes also took ages to come out and we were so impressed by the presentation but sorely disappointed by the taste. It was very salty and had a strange texture. TLDR: Perhaps just a nice spot to grab drinks at the bar? Very cute spot, just didn't like the food or time it took to come out.
