Poke & Box Hawaii store was very good ?The atmosphere inside the store was bright and you could feel the relaxed atmosphere of Hawaii ?The poke bowl was made with fresh seafood and vegetables and was both delicious and healthy ☝️I especially enjoyed the fun of customizing it by choosing your own toppings ?The staff were kind and friendly, and they were very attentive when ordering.Poke & Box, where you can enjoy delicious food while feeling the Hawaiian breeze, is something I would like to visit again when I visit Hawaii!

This is the first poke bowl I ever had in my life.I have fond memories of it, but for some reason I like the poke bowl here the most. The photo shows a combination of size M, white rice, salmon and ahi, soy sauce flavor, spinach and kimchi, and seaweed. The salmon is buried below and cannot be seen.

There were some menus that you could choose for yourself and some that were already set. I chose it myself. You can choose your favorite seafood and mix it on the spot. The best thing about it is that it has a Japanese soy sauce flavor. All poke is covered in sesame oil, which can sometimes feel a little too strong, but I like this soy sauce flavor because it doesn't have sesame oil. Honestly, I was worried that the rice would be hard, but that wasn't the case and it was very delicious! It's easier to find from the outside parking lot aisle near the food court entrance.

Food is good, fresh and consistent. It is very difficult to beat tuna outside of Hawaii and this place definitely does not disappoint. We visit every time we come to Ala Moana an and grab a bowl. Staff is very friendly and super helpful. I always suggest getting the Ahi tuna when coming here!

I love this poke!! It’s great to be able to choose your own poke and toppings. I always get extra crab salad ? big portions too. I usually split the large size with my partner.

Great poke spot in Ala Moana Shopping Center Food Court. Prices are reasonable, fish is fresh. Wish there was more selection in types of fish and more sides were included. You get one topping and one side with the small order. I'm glad they do have an option to include salad as the base. Overall, great poke place if in Ala Moana Shopping Center.

Out of everything you could eat in the mall this is pretty healthy and although it’s not the cheapest it’s in line for what you get. I order the large plate and get ahi, salmon, and scallops. The ahi is half fresh half frozen. I prefer poke here because you can pick the sauce you want for each item. Then you get 3 sides and rice and/or salad. I get half brown rice half salad myself. I would highly recommend.

This is NOT Hawaiian poke, and if you're going in with the right expectation, it's really pretty decent!First of all, after having tried poke at many local spots on island, unpopular opinion here - I prefer the mainland style poke than hawaiian because there's more depth in the flavors with a bunch of ingredients. I like the tempura, the imitation crab salad, the wakame salad and everything in my poke bowl! I do enjoy Hawaiian poke too, but most of the time it's too plain for me. It's either the pure Japanese nigiri / sashimi or mainland poke for me. If I had to mix in some sauces and flavors for the fish, I might as well go all out lolWith that said, I believe a lot of low ratings is the unmanaged expectations. For me, it's a nice surprise when I first came here because it's so hard to find mainland poke in Hawaii! I don't normally get ahi because it's too lean and bland. I usually get salmon and tako (octopus, not squid). Their salmon had always been very fatty and fresh with big chunks served, and the tako had always been tender and not sliced too thick. My recommended combo - medium with 2 proteins 3 toppings, spicy shoyu and spicy sesame for sauces, salmon and tako for protein, tempura bits, masago and wakame salad for toppings. That's my usual order. I've tried other toppings like kimchi, choy sum, etc. and they don't taste as good. (Edamame and corn would be OK too.)Not much service to comment about. Pretty much just go up and tell the staff what you want. One lady doesn't seem to speak English well. The younger staff seem more friendly. It's expensive. My bowl cost $18 where it would normally cost $13-15 in mainland. Poke in generally has gotten more expensive. Or I should say everything in general? Well I don't eat that often so it's OK.
