This ramen shop is located in the food court on the first floor of Ala Moana. It’s delicious! I ordered Bario Ramen (thick noodles) and ordered it spicy. It's moderately spicy for those who like spicy food. The soup is very rich, so it can be a little heavy, but it was very delicious!

Decent ramen place. Normal prices for what you might expect in Hawaii and at a mall. Fried rice was excellent! So tasty. Service was good, front cashier was kind and friendly.

Nice place in the Aloha Moana food court. If you're in the area and craving ramen, this will get you through. I've had better and I've had worse. I will say the fried rice is phenomenal!

This restaurant is located in the food court of Ala Moana Shopping Center. If you eat it in Japan, it costs about 1,000 yen, but here in Hawaii it costs about 2,500 yen in Japanese yen. Since it was served in a take-out container, I felt it was expensive, although it's just a matter of taste. The taste itself was average, but I felt it was a bit of a waste.

I ate ramen at Balinese Ala Moana store.A female staff member in her 40s or 50s with heavy make-up (similar to the comedian Ki◯Taro) will force you to put a tip in the tip container next to the register after paying.⚠️Please note that if you do not insert a tip, you will hear an audible voice saying things like ``sad''.In the first place, the chipIt is something you pay for good services, etc.like a food courtThe fact that they ask for a tip just after taking the order and paying the bill seems to have changed the point...lolIn addition, when providing products,Maybe it's because I didn't include a tip.The above female staff member hands over the product with an unfriendly face, attitude, and words.I will never eat here again...lastlyIt depends on the Balinese Waikiki store and the product, but the difference is only $1/$2, so I recommend eating there. Also, fried rice is not tasty...Ala Moana store isEverything is served in take-out containers...lol(By the way, this is the amount of garlic in the topping ?)

Best Ramen I’ve had in a long time. Broth is top notch. Unfortunately you have to eat it in the chaos of the food court but highly recommended.

Even though it was takeout, they asked for a tip...If I didn't pay, they threw the product at me and gave it to me.This didn't happen last time, but the store clerk was a hit or miss.If you're in your 40s or 50s and have perfect makeup and a bun, it's best not to go.Apparently my friend was yelled at to pay a tip.

Customer service starts with the person you first meet and I guess today wasn't my day. The staff is rude and the manager or owner gave a half hearted apology. So much different than my experiences in Japan. A refund was given and we ate at Ramen Manichi. The service was excellent and the ramen was delicious. I guess it was meant to be.

One of our go-to Tsukemen spot. Honestly, it's kinda hard to find a good place serving dipping noodles. The other is on King Street :) Bario is convenient enough that it's in the mall. Located inside the food court, where Patti's Chinese Kitchen used to be (all you OG's know). Parking is abundant, and there's a whole area of seating. Just gets hard for parking and seating when it's the holidays and there's a lot of people around. Ramen Bario's noodles are cooked perfectly, keeping in mind that the tsukemen noodles are a little thicker than the ramen noodles. The broth used is extremely flavorful. This is meant to be a dipping broth, so very different in comparison to their ramen broth. If you're not into it, you may think it's a little salty. I know that different restaurants will give you something to put inside to mix with the broth after you finish your noodles, but I don't believe Bario does. Honestly, I never asked/ inquired. If you do, lmk :). The portions are generous. For a lighter meal, my husband and I will share a Special Tsukemen Ex-Noodle portion (#24) and make it into a combo with gyoza. A #24 comes with extra helping of char siu and a soft boiled egg. If we're super hungry, we'll each do a regular and not share, but it's always proven that our eyes are bigger than our stomach. If you venture to Waikiki, they reopened that location in Stix Asia (formerly Yokocho). Happy Eating, Chass

Overall pretty good, but pricey. As you walk up you see the extensive menu options which can be super overwhelming. I knew I wanted tsukumem so just focused on the middle column. I ordered the spicy tsukumen with extra noodles, cha siu and added seasoned egg for $3. Originally I tried to order the tsukumen that came with cha siu and egg and asked to make it spicy, but apparently that wasn't a thing and they just pointed to the spicy version. They give a little buzzer and were pretty fast - all orders are to go regardless if you're eating in the food court or not. The broth was seasoned well and actually spicy. The noodles were thick and had a great bite to them. Cha siu had a great sear and the seasoned egg was pretty yummy. My only gripe is that the noodles, pork and egg were all cold. Like noodles weren't flash boiled or anything, which was kind of a bummer. Broth was at a good temp.Probably will try again, but keep in mind you're paying food court prices. They do offer a 15% kamaaina/military discount though!

Tastes good, but not quite worth the wait in line or the premium price. They nickel and dime you for extra for extra utensils and bowls. Also no refills on drinks.

i was pleased to see the multitude of options and levels of spiciness with the ramens. they offered ghost peppers, too! (although it was $4 extra). however, all in all i waited around 40 minutes for the food with 4 ppl ahead. i considered giving the place 2 stars, but the char siu and egg were both good. the actual ramen itself was pretty standard.

Not cheap for a mall Japanese place. Pretty big menu to choose from. I was craving ramen so I got the Bario Ramen and my husband got the Garlic Pork Fried rice. You get a little buzzer and wait. They packed it Take away even though I said here.. And surprisingly the broth was already in with my noodles. Usually when I order Ramen and it ls Take Away, they separate the two so it doesn't get soggy. So I don't know if the people cooking are actually Japanese. And the counter was a bit sticky when I was ordering. But service was nice! The broth was good. Noodles were decently cooked but kind of cold. The meat was soft and flavorful. Might try again once they open the other sit down location. Stopped at this food court just for a quick bite while shopping. Private lot at Ala Moana!

We got their chicken karage set which came with white rice. Everything was freshly made; however, the chicken was a little oily. However, it was served piping hot which made the eating experience even better. All in all, it was a good small meal for us.
