First time to Repetti’s Italian/pizza joint today, and wow was I impressed. I was immediately happy to see it was casual; they make it easy to order at the counter if you want to take your food to-go, or let you pick a seat if you opt to dine in. The portions were giving, and all the food is reasonably priced. There’s only around 20-25 seats, but there was no wait when we went around 5pm on a Tuesday. They start you out with complimentary garlic bread sticks served with a light marinara sauce. We ordered and the food was ready about 10 minutes after. We had the rigatoni bolognese ($17.95) that came with a side salad, and the garlic shrimp ($11.95). Both were seasoned perfectly and the food was delicious. Will definitely be back to try the pizza and other items. Highly recommend!

Middling pizza for an inflated price. Dry chewy crust and bland toppings and sauce. Reminiscent of Boston's but lesser quality. Would maybe go again if half the price. It wasn't bad but it definitely wasn't good. As it stands, Hawaii Kai still has no decent, reasonably priced pizza option.

Ordered take-out from here, and it was amazing. I got their Italian sub and my husband got their meatball sub - sharing a side of fries. Everything smelled amazing there! Their fries were a classic crinkle cut - hot, salty, and delish! Their Italian sub had all the flavors of a New York Italian sub. I absolutely loved it (my husband is from New York so I know a good Italian sub!). He really enjoyed the meatball sub too! Wish they were closer to where we live because this would be our regular spot! The employees were welcoming and nice too. Highly recommend.

1/23/2024 I came here today just to experience the food they had to offer. I brought my aunt along with me to give this place a try. This restaurant is located in the Hawaii Kai Shopping Center. When you enter it's all the way towards the back left side, where Safeway and Tex 808 is located. Right before we entered, they had a sign display placed in front near the entrance showcasing their daily special(s) for the day. We were greeted by a young man, and I have to say the indoor seating area is quite small and tight, they had 2 booths and 3 high table tops place next to each other near their bathroom and delivery door which was closed at all times. We were browsing the menu and the first thing that caught my eyes were the stuffed mushrooms. When I seen that I knew it was A MUST ORDER ITEM for myself. My aunt was going to get the daily special which was the slice of NJ style pizza alongside their Caesar salad, We asked what was in the NJ style pizza and they said it was basically a cheese pizza... So that was like a no bueno for my aunt. So, she ended up getting a Eggplant Parm sub sandwich w/ french fries (crinkle cut) which was her favorite style of fries. Her rating for the sub and fries were an 8/10. As for myself, I ordered their stuff mushrooms and Shrimp Fra Diavolo Stuffed mushrooms had lots of flavor thanks to their white sauce and parmesan cheese that was stuff in the mushroom. One small setback I wish the mushrooms were a little bigger for the price I paid. But other than that the mushrooms were delicious. 9/10 Shrimp Fra Diavolo, man was it amazing but just a reminder to the cook and/or chef that made it today. Please try to not over do it with the jalapenos. Somewhat of my dish mainly consisted of jalapenos, and not much of mixed bell peppers with onions which I wish I had more of in my dish. The shrimp was good, not dry and cooked perfectly. The pasta was on point and al dente. Not chewy or dry. The sauce was AMAZING I wish I ordered bread to finish the sauce. 9/10 would have been a solid 10 if it was not for the small setback. Customer service from the server/cashier/host 10/10. He made sure our water cups were filled and asked if everything was okay while we were eating. To end it all Would I come back again? Heck yes Would I recommend this place to others? 100%, if I enjoyed it, I know all my friends and family would too. Would I recommend this place for a date night to anyone? Yup Would I order everything off the menu? Don't temp me with a good time haha Much aloha to this place and I'm glad I enjoyed their food.

I have a friend who is an owner in the Hawaii Kai Assaggios and this place will probably impact his business a bit. Its a much more casual restaurant that Assaggios, so the older crowd that wants a more service-oriented experience will continue to go there. We got to Repetti's around 8 so we did place the order at the counter. I think she said that normally they will come to the table to take the order, but since half the tables are outside, I think the service is more sporadic and limited than many restaurants. For example, they had cups and a huge carafe of water by the counter, so we just helped ourselves rather than wait to be served. This works fine for us but people expecting full service might be disappointed. We ordered two items, the Rigatoni Pesto With Chicken & Sausage and the Garden Pizza. The nice thing about this place is all the entrees come with a salad and really good focaccia bread that is fresh baked and comes with this creamy marinara. This is a really nice touch. Many places would charge $4 for each of these, so in my mind, this is worth $8 or so. They forgot to bring the bread so I gently reminded them and it came soon enough. The pasta was amazing. I always get fresh pasta whenever I can. The only place locally that has pasta that is similar that I am aware of is La Cucina in Kakaako. And they don't have a pesto sauce. This pesto sauce was amazing. Definitely freshly made, vibrant in color, and perfect in consistency. Absolutely delicious. Unfortunately the pizza was just OK. The crust was good, but it just lacked taste. The sauce was blend. I feel like it needed some fresh garlic on it. I will overlook this because the other pizzas that were coming out looked better. I think next time, we will avoid pizzas altogether and get some apps instead. The fried mozzarella looked so good!! Because we got limited service we tipped 10% I'm giving this place 5 stars based on the fresh pasta, the pasta sauces, and the concept.

Seriously the best chicken cesar sub I have ever had! The pizza is great too. Location is lovely, service is lovely, free bread is always a plus! Can't wait to go back!
