Very friendly staff at Dole cannery in Iwilei and the soft serve ice custard is one of a kind and tastes amazing. Come down and trying the Ice custard. They also bring back childhood memories with their Italian ice. Thanks guys.

The ice isn't the same as Hawaiian shave ice. It's quite a bit heavier. Unfortunately this location always seems limited on It's choice of flavors. However, their custard is smooth and creamy and never disappoints. If it's your first time try the gelati - it's a cup of their Italian ice with custard on the bottom and on top. Ritas is always a solid choice for desert as far as chains go. To find it you have to go to the back of the tiki family fun center.

Wow! If you want frozen custard, this is were you need to be. I've never had frozen custard before and after one taste I fell in love with it. I prefer the vanilla over the chocolate. If you want to step it up a notch, get the gelati which is a mix of frozen custard and Italian ice. Plan to spend about $5 - $7 per person here but it's a great treat on a hot summer day or night. They are located inside Tikis Family Fun Center at Dole Cannery. Watch out for the kids running around and the noise level can be loud at certain times. They will validate if you park in the Dole Cannery parking (same as the movie theater).

Great because I've been dying for a Rita's since I left the east coast but honestly their flavor selection is lacking and its kind of inconvenient just because you have to go into Tiki's to get to it. That being said a mango gelati might be my favorite frozen treat in the world so... 😍😍😍

I'm not going to lie, as excited as I was to try this place I was hesitant due to the location: - located in Dole Cannery which I don't like to visit very often due to all the homeless who are right outside and their parking structure is a hassle - located in Tiki's Family Fun Center which is loud and full of kids But it looked yummy and it's the first frozen custard place to open here so I wanted to try it. Park at Dole Cannery and make sure you get validation. Or you can be like us and park on the back side in the Costco lot. When you walk into Tiki's, it's inside to the right. There aren't many tables and it's a bit cramped. There was a lot of staff but the counter isn't very long, so the line didn't move too quick. The staff was polite and friendly and did offer us samples of whatever we wanted to try. They have Italian ice and custard. They had vanilla and chocolate custard. Both were very good, although vanilla goes better with the Italian ice. The custard looked like it would be thick like frosting and icky sweet but it wasn't. It was a creamier consistency than I normally like but it was actually really easy to eat, too easy. There are several Italian ice flavors and the flavors rotate. The Italian ice is refreshing and has such a smooth consistency. Strawberry, root beer and watermelon were my favorites that I sampled. The watermelon had real chunks of watermelon in it. They also have frozen custard and blended shakes, but I prefer to have my ice and custard segregated. You can also choose toppings if you want, but it's still really good without them. I got gelati so I could get the best of both worlds, Italian ice with custard on the top and bottom in the cup! Although I'm not a fan of the location, It's definitely worth coming to get, and take out. I hope they open more locations soon! ******** Rita's is now here! Italian ice and custard to fill your tummy!

We have been going to Rita's for years. In Florida and in California. We were so excited when we found out it was coming to Hawaii! The owner (also of Tiki family fun center) is the best, super sweet and he alone is enough reason to come back. You can't go wrong here, with so many delicious flavors and varieties. There is something for everyone! My family and I will definitely be regulars here. Mahalo
