Very friendly staff at Dole cannery in Iwilei and the soft serve ice custard is one of a kind and tastes amazing. Come down and trying the Ice custard. They also bring back childhood memories with their Italian ice. Thanks guys.
The ice isn't the same as Hawaiian shave ice. It's quite a bit heavier. Unfortunately this location always seems limited on It's choice of flavors. However, their custard is smooth and creamy and never disappoints. If it's your first time try the gelati - it's a cup of their Italian ice with custard on the bottom and on top. Ritas is always a solid choice for desert as far as chains go. To find it you have to go to the back of the tiki family fun center.
Wow! If you want frozen custard, this is were you need to be. I've never had frozen custard before and after one taste I fell in love with it. I prefer the vanilla over the chocolate. If you want to step it up a notch, get the gelati which is a mix of frozen custard and Italian ice. Plan to spend about $5 - $7 per person here but it's a great treat on a hot summer day or night. They are located inside Tikis Family Fun Center at Dole Cannery. Watch out for the kids running...
