This place has a great ambiance and was a decent place for my date night. However, you're expected to pay premium prices for mediocre foods and very little quantity. There are some options for skewers but they're averaging 6-10 per stick. See photos. The wagyu fried rice is priced at $38 for basically two spoons of rice. And they're not even great. The rolls are fine but you'll get much better rolls and prices at Sushi Bay. Save yourself some time and money and go elsewhere.

We went here after an awful experience at Straights across the street. Ambiance outstanding. Fun but not too loud. Service was top notch from start to finish. Friendly and efficient. Our server Louis was the best. All his food recommendations were spot on. Food was fast and delicious. I would definitely come here again.

Worst experience ever. We booked a reservation online and intended to have omakase sushi set. But when we arrive at 8pm at our reservation time. The waitress told us the omakase is no longer available. The restaurant manager came to us and told us we have to call to make reservations if we want to have omakase. There’s no way we can know that we have to CALL to make reservation for omakase until we arrived. Very unorganized service. Won’t ever come again and would not recommend.

Made a reservation for a birthday dinner. The service was good. The restaurant have dim lighting and candle light on the table. My favorites were the hot stone garlic rice and prime beef tongue (it was tender and melts in your mouth). It can be pricey but it's worth a try.

Located in the Ward Entertainment area just across from Dave and Busters or Straits Honolulu. Known for their skewers and sushi. I haven't had any bad experiences with their food. Everything is good. I would highly recommend this place. Prices are reasonable, and they also have a sushi bar where you can get Omakase.Aloooooha and happy eating.

Dined here for the first time last month and was pleasantly awed. I came here with a girlfriend to enjoy happy hour and it didn't disappoint. Parking was a bit humbug as parking is a bit away from the restaurant. I chose to park across the street at the Ward Shopping Center parking garage. But it is what it is.Food was good. We made the mistake of ordering a few more salmon dishes and it was just ok for me. Nothing epic or standouts for me. Perhaps dessert? Ambiance wins and the service was good too! Our waiter checked in on us several times and cleared plates and filled glasses too. Comfy seating, adequate lighting and the noise level wasn't bad at all. Great happy hour place to catch up and drink a few.

This is the old Nobu spot, so the ambiance and decor are fantastic. The food is not very good regardless of the price, and the speed and quality of service is probably one of the worst experiences I've had in Honolulu. Drinks took forever to come out, and after dinner on the Robata side, we went to the LBD bar in the same spot. It's almost like they don't want your business. Sat at one of the loungers and it took more than 30 minutes to get our first drink. Waiting another 30 and made our way to the bar to physically order another drink that took another 20-30 minutes. There were probably 6 total people in the outside area, so absolutely unsure what the problem was.

It's new years so I didn't expect much but service was horrible. Walk in the host tells me to seat myself. The server gave me the wrong sushi roll... TWICE! Gave me my drink AFTER I got my food. They asked me if I had any allergies I told them please no green onions... My plate came with green onions all on top. Mind you there's more workers than customers right now but still managed to take a hour (not exaggerating) to bring out our final food. Oh and It gets better! as we're paying for our bill they shorted me $10 on the change. Good thing I opened it in front of them other wise they would have thought I was lying.Only reason I gave it 3 stars is because the food is good.

Made a reservation for a Wednesday night at 6:00 right before Christmas. Wanted to spend an evening out with the family while they were all home for the Winter Break. Ambience is trendy and modern. Walk in and get greeted and seated. There are a variety of seating configurations ranging from booths, rounds, window views, and of course the bar.The restaurant was pretty packed on this night. A few families, but more couples dining out. This place has a great vibe for a date night out.Menu is eclectic with a range of options. Drink menu is also pretty extensive. We ordered a few appetizers and then more options to share family style. All and all the service was attentive considering they were very busy. We enjoyed the food and the company was great!Fair is fair come and check this place out if you are looking to have dinner with a special someone or looking to conduct a business meeting. Either way, it would be a great way to make a favorable impression.
