I really loved the omakase experience here. Chef Halo took us on a culinary journey that included hickory smoked toro and uni, the tenderest Hokkaido scallop, and foie gras with unagi hand roll, textures and flavor combinations I’ve never had before, all for $85/person. I was blown away and i didn’t have a bad bite. Delicious, thank you!

I enjoyed an early dinner at Robata JINYA as I was headed to the Ward Theaters to attend a viewing of the IVE: 1st World Tour concert video. I got there a little early and found myself to be the sole diner at this large venue.

I started with a Hendricks gin & tonic … My first surprise, I received a Sipsmith London Dry gin & tonic. It was fine; I’ve had Sipsmith previously. The manager (I think) said it was Happy Hour, so I ordered off that menu....

My wife and I love this place. Food is excellent. Service (Kenny) is excellent. Great atmosphere. Management (Jason) is awesome too. Very attentive. Wagyu ribeye skewers, toro, smoke toro with uni, uni, and sashimi are so good. Best sushi place in Hawaii in our opinion.
