The dancers were good but only a fire dancer came out for about 5 mins. Need a little more because per the advertisement it seems it would be more . We are from Texas and the food was not all good for us. Over all okay.

This was the first time I came to Honolulu, Hawaii, and my first time at a luau. The pig was juicy and delectable. The food was tasty and comforting. The hula dancing was magically spectacular! The music was like an arrow to the heart! Even the Hula performance with Elvis and Michael Jackson impersonators singing and dancing made me fangirl like crazy! It was heavenly authentic, and it felt like Disneyland but in Hawaii. My dad and I cheered for the performers so hard! They were so determined, beautiful, and proud of their wonderful culture they represent through fireknifers, dance, and music! 5/5 stars and Mahalo for making my vacation so memorable!

Worth. Every. Penny. !!

To be absolutely honest, I was a little skeptical about this show/dinner/luau simply because it wasn’t ON a beach and I knew the “show” would contain elements of rock n roll and not just native Hawaiian music. I’ve never been happier to have my skepticism shattered!

First of all, the staff were all extremely welcoming and attentive. The dinner portion was excellent. A great buffet-style meal with plenty of options. Entertainment during dinner was fantastic, too. Great dancing and singing, and my wife and my Mom got to get up and learn to hula!

After dinner, we filed into the nearby theater. It’s a great theater and the whole production was first class. Live band jamming out (with a few backing tracks to fill things out) and a cast of singers and dancers that did an excellent job. In particular, I have to single out Michael (Elvis), James (Michael Jackson) and the fire twirling artist (unfortunately I don’t have his name, but he performed on Thursday, August 21st.)

Those 3 guys brought the house down with impeccable performances. I never saw Elvis or MJ perform live, but I feel like I got to experience what it would have been like. They really were THAT GOOD! The fire artist was mind blowing, too. As a performer myself, I know how much effort must have gone into being able to perform such an exhilarating, technically magnificent show with NO VISIBLE MISTAKES!

After the show, the cast was available for pics and autographs. Michael (Elvis), was every bit as gracious and friendly in person as he was
flawless onstage. He even let my Mom wear his sunglasses in our photo! What an entertainer!

As I said at the top, we felt this show was worth every penny. First class production all around!

We only did the show and it was a lot of fun! A great tribute to Elvis, Michael Jackson, IZ, and the dancing and music culture history of Hawaii. I wish you would charge less for copies of the photos you sell. $30 is steep, but if you buy more, should be cheaper!

The show was very entertaining and creative! Elvis was my favourite part, but overall the whole show was fun! They were interactive but not too much where people feel uncomfortable. It’s a great family fun show! Highly recommend

The food was just alright...but the show was absolutely fantastic!! There were so many great fun songs we all know and love mixed with some hula dances. The choreography was amazing and Elvis and Michael Jackson were the best I've ever seen. They interact with the audience too. Highly recommend for all ages!

The food was great but we especially enjoyed the show. Super fun and entertaining, cast is Awesome! The show took you on a Hawai’i musical history from 1920s to current. Definitely add it to your itinerary.

As tourists eager for the full Hawaiian experience, we hit up the Rock-A-Hula show at the Royal Hawaiian Center in Waikiki, and it was a total win. Unlike traditional outdoor luaus, this one’s indoors, so no stressing about rain or wind—perfect for a worry-free night. Plus, it’s right in the heart of Waikiki, making it a short, easy walk from our hotel, which was super convenient.

The luau dinner was tasty overall. The suckling pig was the star, with crispy, flavorful skin that had us going back for seconds, and the teriyaki chicken brought some good memories. The roasted beef was a bit tough, but the coconut jelly dessert saved the day—creamy, tropical, and just divine. The spread felt festive and kept us fueled for the show.

The performance was next-level, blending classic hula and fire dances with a surprising Elvis and Michael Jackson impersonator act. The Elvis guy nailed the 60s hits, and the hula dancers were mesmerizing with their smooth moves. The 700-seat theater felt grand, and the staff’s warm Hawaiian hospitality tied it all together. Rock-A-Hula is a fun, unique twist on the luau experience—definitely a highlight of our trip!

What a great show super entertaining. Highly recommend if you want to be indoors and feel like you were transported to Las Vegas for a while !! We didn’t take the dinner option which suited us better, hence, no idea about the food.
