Was meeting a friend here for dinner, was at Ala Moana Center the day before and decided to find the restaurant since I was not familiar with it. Turned on Google Maps and followed the directions. The map showed that I was right on top of it, but I didn't see it. Checked a mall map and discovered that it is only accessible from the street side, not the mall side. Glad I checked. The restaurant itself is very nice, simple, clean, bright. Service is excellent. We tried the assortment of dishes. All of the dishes were well prepared and very good. Would come again, now that I know where it is. It's flanked by a sushi place and a popular ramen place.

We called last minute and made a reservation before our flight back home. They were able to fit us in earlier as we were shopping around Alo Moana trying to kill time. When we arrived they got the name wrong but it was fine - we were promptly seated and ordered the pork cutlet, soba noodles and a agedashi tofu. Everything was amazing. Our server was hilarious and was very attentative. We will be back in our next visit to Hawaii. Mahalo!

I normally will walk past this restaurant for many years now. But one day I decided to try the food and honestly it's the best authentic Japanese food I ever had. I recommend getting the Miso Butter Fish and Berkshire Loin Katsu set ?.

My friend and I went to your restaurant for dinner at 6pm on June 13, 2024. We made the reservation under my friend's name, but when we paid the bill, I wanted to thank my friend for the invitation, so I decided to pay with my Chinese credit card. When I ordered dessert, I clearly said I wanted green tea ice cream, and the elderly female waiter who served us made me feel that she deliberately didn't hear clearly. But when we paid the bill, she once again deliberately asked my friend why the Chinese credit card. Your service staff let customers feel racial discrimination. Who pays the bill and what national credit card to use is decided by the customer, not your employees. I hope you can give me an answer and explanation for the racial discrimination.

The short hair asian lady server was extremely rude. Please fix your behavior since the customer service is your job. The food and service was terrible but she was forcing us to pay big amount of tip. I don't want to waste my money on terrible service and food.

Tonkatsu was really tender delicious. The eggplant dish was amazing beyond expectations. Spinaches in sesame sauce was great. I think most of the small dishes are even better than main dishes. Overall worthy to visit!

offers good food and a great atmosphere for its price range. However, the experience can be marred by the older servers who exhibit rude attitudes, turning what could feel like a decent restaurant into something resembling a cheap Chinese eatery.

In terms of taste alone, it's very delicious, but 4 stars because of the price. I came from Korea and I don't think there are many people who would pay 40,000 won for pork cutlet. The amount is not too much, just the right amount.
