Love Shauya Alamoana! Worth every penny! About $30 per person for dinner. All you can eat! Great deal in Hawaii, great service and atmosphere! My kids loved cooking their own foods in the hot pots! Great experience with a great meal! Children are charged based on height so my 12 year old was full price. Still 💯 worth every penny!

The wait was definitely on the longer side. Thankfully, the servers were calm, efficient, and seemed to have everything under control, which helped make the wait more bearable. The service was excellent throughout—friendly, attentive, and well-organized. If you’re planning to go, I highly recommend making a reservation through the Google link rather than just walking in—it felt like doing that could easily save you around 30 minutes. Once seated, the food was totally worth it—super fresh and delicious. The original broth is great, full of flavor without being overpowering. The lively vibe with K-pop playing in the background really adds to the fun atmosphere.

The wait was 45 minutes but we opted for the bar and didn't have to wait.

Been going here with the fam since it opened. Decided to write a review in the hopes the Shabuya people actually read reviews. Great food for the price and generally the service is decent (depending on who we get). The big thing I want to mention is the cleanliness which has been going down gradually. Tables are kind of sticky. Floors are kind of sticky. Plates and utensils often have dried food on them. Love this place. Please fix this. I want to keep coming here.

Overcharged me $30 when I gave a cash tip. Watch your receipt, but the experience and food were amazing!

I think my server was Marc or something like that. The service was so bad. He was leaving before we could finish our order. He asks the table next to us and around us but skips us. He NEVER asked once if we needed something. There were no spoon provided n we asked 2 times and we ended up getting it ourselves. Such a horrible experience. We asked for water and he gave us LUKEWARM water. This is the last time I am gonna eat here.

I have no complains at all for this restaurant.

It was close to my hotel, the all-you-can-eat meat, seafood and vegs were fresh, service was great and the price was reasonable. I had a really good time.

Be prepared to wait a bit if you get there at peak time. They don't take reservations, all FCFS.

Overall, i like the atmosphere gives off and warmth sensation. And also has good ramen and sauces. The service was on time, clean, and modern looking. Food was terrific and at this time today is my brothers birthday the people around you somewhat gives you a birthday congratulations and including the employees. But somewhat the Asian Chili sauce was somewhat sweet and okay, the hot spicy miso wasnt up to my liking but i appreciate what they have for me. This place is next to, The Alley and Jamba Juice in Ala Moana. Thank you Shibuya for serving me, really enjoyable.

I’ve been to Shabuya in Ala Moana a few times before and always enjoyed the food, but this time left me very disappointed—not because of the meal, but because of the service at checkout.

After dining, I left a cash tip on the table, as I prefer to do. But when the server came, I noticed he quickly pressed the tip option on the screen before handing it to me—essentially double-tipping me without asking.

This left a really bad impression. Tipping should be a choice, not something forced or snuck in. It felt dishonest, and frankly, disrespectful. I work hard for my money and always make sure to show appreciation to good service—but not like this.

I hope management sees this and reminds the staff to treat customers fairly and transparently. I don’t know if I’ll be coming back after this experience.

My boyfriend and I came here twice on our trip and the first time was awesome! We loved it. The food was great and our waiter was so sweet. However, our second time was good too until we got hit with food poisoning a couple hours later. We did have a great experience, was just a bummer that that’s how it ended.

First time coming here and it was awesome !! Very intimate with everybody getting to cook their own shabu shabu with their own choice of broths. The ingredients had a huge variety of ingredients like seafood and veggies, plus all the meats were great and all you can eat !! So good for $32 or less per person (depending on lunch or dinner). Highly recommend!
