So many good memories from when this place was open. It's a shame that Ala Moana and Shirokiya weren't able to come to an agreement in their legal disputes that would have been more beneficial for their customers.And guys, complaining that the place is closed in the reviews won't do anything. You have to "Suggest an Edit" and report this as being permanently closed.
I just read on the news that the company who owns this village walk and Ala Moana corp is suing each other for unpaid rent and this place is not coming back.On the other hand, when this place was open, it was GREAT!
So many great choices for food and desserts in Shirokiya. It's pretty much a food court in Ala Moana. A good spot to take a rest from shopping. There's an abundant of selections to choose from.Plenty of tables and seats underneath a ceiling of hanging pink flowers. It kind of feel like Japan here in the middle of an open air mall. In addition, I'm so glad they have musubi here. Every time we're at Ala Moana, we have to make a note of stoping by to get our musubi...
