The chef makes amazing bento! I tried the Hire Katsu Bento (Pork Tenderloin Katsu) from the August Monthly Special Menu. The bento came with rice, salad, and side dishes. Each component of the dish went well together and had great flavor. The katsu was juicy and crispy, and the portions were filling and certainly worth the price!Compliments to the chef and his wife who take time to talk to their customers and make them feel at home. Decided to venture out into the city during our 5 hour layover (kids in tow) for lunch. This place hit the spot for lunch. The guy at the counter was super helpful. I personally really liked their pan friend king salmon.

Outstanding bento. Great quality food and terrific flavors. Way above average. The owner / chef is extremely nice and his background as a top tier chef really shows in the quality and creativity of the food. Will definitely be back!
