Used to be great, but portions are getting smaller and smaller

Got takeout. Same owners as the Siam Garden on Nimitz. It's good! Pad Thai was good and generous. Really liked the Panang Curry too :).

Ordered 3 dishes tonight. Pad Thai, yellow curry and sticky rice. I barely made a dent in my food when I felt some thing very hard and sharp in my mouth. Spit it out and it was a staple. Yup you read right. A staple. Couldn't determine what dish it came from nor did it matter. Packed up all containers, taped the staple to one dish so I could show the lady the evidence and drove back to the restaurant immediately. She gave me back my money and basically sent me off like ok bye! Maybe this is normal for them? I asked her why she didn't apologize to me for nearly ingesting a staple and potentially my daughter as well. She became defensive and said I did over the phone! I wouldn't be posting this had she been apologetic and shown it. But she was so callous about it. I wanted to support local business during this terrible pandemic. But this killed my fight. Food here is good but watch out for foreign objects. Makes me wonder what else I didn't see in my food.

Ordered take out this past week for dinner. Their Panang curry (spicy) and Pad Thai noodles were pretty tasty and would order it again. Would not reorder the shoyu steamed fillet. Reasonably priced items.

There is a part of me that feels bad writing this review during the coronavirus crisis, but when food is bad, it is just bad. We paid $35 for food that was wasted. This is the first time we try this restaurant and it is likely our last. We had not eaten out since late February (like many during this crisis) but on this Saturday evening in mid April, we were too tired to cook and wanted Thai takeout from a place we had not yet tried. We ordered tofu panang curry and tofu green curry with spring rolls as an appetizer. My husband picked up the food but had to enter the restaurant to do so. Not saying this is bad but it was my impression that this was being done curbside or that restaurants were bringing food outdoors for safety. Anyway... My tofu green curry was unpleasant to eat. Not only was it too spicy (I asked for medium but got HOT) but the flavor was really off. There were only a few pieces of tofu (cut into tiny pieces) but mostly it was just eggplant pieces. I love eggplant, which is why I order green curry a lot, but this eggplant was mealy and mushy at the same time. It had an unpleasant flavor even the spiciness couldn't overcome. No flavor of the coconut milk could be detected. I had about four bites of the dish total and stopped eating. I can handle when a dish is more spicy than desired - this is always up for interpretation - but the texture of the eggplant told me that it was either going bad or it was just old and something else in the dish was going bad. I tried a few bites of the panang curry and that was better although I did not think it was nearly as good as at other restaurants. The spring rolls were the most edible items of the meal and even those were not great. I could taste the oil was getting a bit old because flavors of other foods were prominent. The dipping sauce was not particularly nice. If there are problems with the kitchen due to the current crisis, I will be happy to consider trying the place again. And in any case, I think reviews during this time should be carefully weighed and should not damage a good restaurant's reputation. My experience was bad but perhaps it was just the bad circumstances of the time. Given that this place has an average of four stars, I am thinking this may have just been an off night during a really bad time in all our lives.

I love the Nimitz Hwy one and we live in Kaimuki so when we found out they had this Kaimuki location we were so thrilled. I love the food here and my husband does too. It's so good and price is so reasonable. We will be frequent foodies here.

You lost a customer today because your phone was off the hook, I even tried calling your sister company to ask them to have you put your phone back on the hook since your hours of operation are current and still could not get through so you have lost a customer..

Great Food. Great Service. We were so busy enjoying the food we didn't even think to take pictures.

We were lucky to have found one open stall in their little lot at dinner time. Careful, Parking is tight. Not even sure how big SUVs would maneuver back there but as Byron S. reviewed, there's about ten stalls meant for small cars. This location seems a tad smaller than the Nimitz location and at the time, they didn't have that many employees working. As Derek N. Reviewed, our server was also informative and friendly, yet not intrusive. We ordered the fried chicken, Thai-style chow fun, Panang curry with pork and sticky rice, crab fried rice, and fried fish with chili sauce. Everything was good. My favorite was the fried chicken :) If you're sensitive to MSG, you can use the recommendation from Ryan L. and request no MSG in your order.

The space itself is nice with both indoor and outdoor options. Ample parking. I didn't think the food was as good as their shop on Nimitz. I would give this place another chance.

Tasty but tough location to get to. Parking is limited in the back, you need to be careful going into and out of the driveway due to the Waialae traffic.

First time here! I usually eat at the Siam palace off Kapahulu but they were closed until 4 this evening so decided to give this location a try and left very pleased! The ambiance is boho chic, very intimate and welcoming. We got our usual order- chicken fried rice and Pad Thai and both entrees had our mouths watering!

Great Thai food, fast service, parking in the back and reasonable prices. I love it here.
