New owners now. Still great service. Ono fried chicken, cone sushi. But, shucks, the white chow fun has changed. I think they cook it differently and maybe using a different chow fun noodle. Used to be the only place I could get the white chow fun. ?

The à la carte menu is fantastic. As a first-timer, the cashier kindly offered recommendations, and I'm glad they did because the fried fish with tartar sauce became my favorite. The turnip was lovely as well. I also love how this place is incredibly budget-friendly.

Japanese okazuya style food. 3 plates purchased combination of Chowfun, plain musubi, fried and shoyu chicken, hotdog, corn beef hash patty, side order of vegetable tempura, nishime & maki sushi. Was ono and filled our hungers.
Parking: Parking can be tight when the lunch rush is on, they limit how many people to go in and place order, so there might be a line & long wait.

Quality food at unbeatable price!
Best damn okazuya in town period! Simple menu and still cheap. Last of the Mohicans.3/27/21St. Louis Okazuya, kicks it big time! Best, cheapest okazuya in town. 7a - to 1p - or when they run out, Wed - Sat. I'd go before 10:30am. Just saying...4/21/21Pre-workout ritual - musubi, luncheon meat, 3 fried chix. Who serves luncheon meat anymore? They do!

Wow, I'm surprised I didn't have to break the bank at this okazuya! The food was so ONO!!! They have the basics, nothing too extravagant, but enough to have good variety. Because I'd have to travel before eating I ordered 2 plates. 1st was the "wet" foods 2nd was the "dry" foods, I almost ordered 1 of everything available.3 reasons for the 4 star rate: The hash patties were dry I guess because its mostly potato, I prefer traditional えぴ shrimp tempura, and TBH I was craving the square egg omelet but they didn't have any egg dishes nor did they have なますnamasu. The にしめ nishime was cooked through yet it was nice and firm and served in it's sauce, the tofu was great, and the shoyu chicken was juicy. But the fried chicken, OMG the fried chicken! It is now in my top 10 list! There was a misunderstanding, unfortunately I didn't get to try one of my favorite dishes, long rice. I'll be back very soon!
