We visited the restaurant tonight and brought our own sakes. The waitress didn't inform us that there would be an $80 corkage fee per bottle. We were surprised when the bill came out showing $160 for two bottles. Had we known about the charge, we would have ordered your sake instead. It doesn't make sense to me that we weren't advised of the fee ahead of time — I feel the waitress should have made that clear. Also, I noticed there was an automatic service charge...
Best sushi I have ever had in US. Some really premium fishes are included in the 200 dollar set, which is better than most of the 400 dollar+ omakase I had in SF. Strongly recommend this place.
It was our first time doing an Omakase experience and we were blown away!! Every bite was something new, the wasabi was fresh, the portions were perfect, and the staff was so friendly and professional.
