Fantastic service and fantastic food! We came back to this restaurant 15-20 years after visiting initially and the quality of the food is just as good if not better. Can't wait to come back again, and we definitely won't wait as long to visit!
Sushi sasabune has been a dream spot for me for a few years now. Their spotlight video on the YouTube channel Eater looked incredible. Suffice to say the video didn't overhype them. The sushi was as good as it looked. The menu during my visit was unique and adventurous with the non traditional sushi items being highlights. The lobster tail bake was perfect, the oyster shooter and oyster bake were the first ever oysters I've enjoyed, and I've tried to like oysters...
Enjoyed Omakase Sushi. Menu was great as usual. Long time patron, always enjoy the sushi- presentation and flavors, and the service- great seating, drink service, and tempo of service is just right, not too fast, not too slow. Appreciate all the Sushi Chefs headed by Seiji, and the service Crew- Fano, Tate, & Maki
