They usually close for lunch and only offer takeout, but the chef welcomed us in. The miso soup was surprisingly the highlight of the meal. The omakase was good, featuring fresh, well-crafted sushi. The storefront is a bit misleading, but I would definitely recommend it.
Super high quality sushi in a very unassuming location. Great friendly staff. Omakase was amazing - super variety of fish and types of preparation. Ordered a couple salmon rolls for my kid which were super fresh. Omakase was so good that my kid ate half of mine.
Absolutely fantastic. First, the owners. Lovely husband and wife. Nicest people you will ever meet. His skills with her warm service is the perfect pairing. The food, excellent. Been to different omakase around Honolulu. For it's $110 price seems very reasonable compared to less food for $120. Plus, you can bring your own alcohol, which makes it much cheaper. I have spent $500+ for 2 because of alcohol alone (my fault).
