If you’re craving genuinely spectacular Mexican food, look no further than this gem of a taco truck in Waikiki! I recently had the pleasure of trying their Asada baked potato, and it was nothing short of heavenly. You'll want to get there early, though; they tend to run out due to popular demand! I was in a rush when I went after trying to go to Steve-o’s for my third time and finding them closed. So I came here and they were out of most taco fillings, such as carne asada and even potato, so I settled for three chicken tacos. They were fine but nothing super special. The salsa verde was nice. I also wish they did taco Tuesdays like other places do.
The team gives a great effort. The taste is as good as it gets outside Mexico for some tacos and quesadillas. They could put more meat in the tacos and double the tortilla if they are charging $5 a taco. The quesadilla was well filled. Pretty quick service. Salsa is a spicy. Give them a try next time you crave some Mexican. Practice your español!
